Kyrie Irving: is it wrong for me to want to get his jersey?

I have been a Laker Fan since 97-98 when I started watching basketball at the young age of 10. Living in Los Angeles it was a no brainer. I was lucky enough to see young Kobe develop and the first 3 peat was the monster know as Shaq Daddy. I also watched the years we didn't make the playoffs and when we finally got Gasol my heart and soul was crushed by the loss in the finals to the Celtics. So I know the Lakers vs Celtics feud goes on from the beggining of team where former Lakers says even the color green make them mad. However with Kobe retiring I really hate the new league mentality let's all be friends and workout in the summer like Durant did with LeBron after the heat just beat them. Im having trouble really having a favorite player. Now to the point I love what Kyrie did this summer how left and what's to prove himself. I like his game and see great things in his future. So with all that sad how weak of me would it to be rock a Kyrie Celtics Jersey out in Los Angeles haha
Opinions please!

Meh I've never seen the Celtics all that differently from other teams around the league. 08-10 brought some of the rivalry back, but besides those years, neither team have been competitive at the same time. I wasn't alive to watch the rivalry back in the 80s so it doesn't mean as much to me. If he's your favorite player go ahead and get the Jersey.

I wouldn't say he is my favorite player right now just one of them that I have respect for and love the respect he gives kobe. Maybe his team USA Jersey for the win!

Two years down the line you can hang it right next to your Stephon Marbury jersey while he is eating vaseline on Instagram live.

John Wall jersey now that's a great idea. I love his game and him in general. That 3 pointer to win game 3 of 4 against Boston was awesome. I'm just really impressed that Kyrie said I'm not sticking around for LeBron's bs and got F out of there.

The fact that you have to ask means you already know the answer. You can like him in secret, but don't you dare rock that ugly green.

Last week Kyrie was asked about his thoughts on playing om Milwaukee’s classic court and he thought they where LITERALLY going to play on a decade’s old court so he rambled on about court safety and what the court might do to is knees.
Just something to think about.

I thought Duke was supposed to be a high tier academic college?

Did you read his post game comments..... "Prior to shootaround, I had my thoughts, but, after I did my own assessment, it was definitely a great thing to be out there on that floor."
So what he didn't like the surface at first... the nba is so exciting this year with so many story lines I can't believe the media made this into a big deal.

Yeah, I don't have a deep hatred for the Celtics like a lot of the older fans on here either.
The Clippers and Suns, on the other hand, can go **** themselves.

Those two aren't even in the same galaxy as the Celtics. Have we even played the Clippers in a playoff series? And the Suns ... I feel bad for them about 100 times more than I hate them. They're usually just a speed bump on our way to better things. At least, when we weren't historically crappy.
