The game's on Thursday.

Huge game on the road against a good Portland team. Hope we can build on the momentum from the Detroit game and continue to play good sound basketball and particularly the defense. Defense will keep us in this game even if our shots are not falling.

All good. We play the nets on Fri. So all the Russell guys can reminisce, and talk about what coulda been.

We always lose in Portland...i wrote off this game 10 years ago. Excited to see us play the Nets

My normal "Portland is a loss" mantra is out. We will win this game.

We haven't had one single defensive guard to hang with their guards, for quite a while. We now do have KCP who is fast enough for Wall (who shot 7/22 against us). We also have Lonzo who is an underrated defender, although gets lost still and isn't strong enough yet.

We win this on pure youthfulness and adrenaline.

If we come out and play like last game, I see no reason we can't win this in a close one. If Randle has another night where he goes 17 7 and 3 in 16 minutes and plays the kind of D on the portland guards, I say we win. I'm really really hoping we start seeing that consistency in him.

If I had Pau Gasol in it the week we signed him, I'd have lost you then, too. No, I'm not saying he'll be here in a week...

He's doing his personal tanking job like he did before he left for Miami. He's done there. It needs to be okay with everyone that he leaves, and so if the team sucks, people would easier support him leaving. I know they have IT and DR injured, but still. They really suck on defense. Royally.

I really want to see KCP guarding Dame. His on BBBall man defense is a weapon for us similar to Patrick Beverly. It's KCPs biggest strength. We need to utilize this more. Put Zo on CJ

This is another good matchup for Ingram. This team isn't very physical and has typically lacked any defensive discipline whatsoever.
