Kuzma played like crap most of the game but had 3 key shots... Brewer, Clarkson, KCP and Randle won us this game. Actually Ball too when he was on the floor with the second unit was playing some pretty gritty D, even if his offense was pretty bad.

Still giving Ingram time. He's going to be a late bloomer at this point.

JC made up for that horrible game and then some tonight...

JC: 11-19, 3 assists and ZERO turnovers!!
Good to take both games against the Suns so early in the season and both away in Phoenix. Now we got 4 games at home to get healthy against 76ers, Suns, Denver, and Chicago.

Yeah, I'm not calling him a bust... He's had some really good games this season where you could tell where he was going to be when it all comes together for him...
I am saying it's time to start holding him a little more accountable for his bad plays... He's pretty much had unlimited PT since he was drafted. And I don't think he's playing the right way right now. So I think maybe pulling him more often might focus him more... Partially because he seems like the kind of kid that gets driven when he gets called out... Not pouty...

he's just inconsistent. He was playing the best ball of his career before the road trip. He simply needs to be able to hit a J in order to open up the rest of his game, and his confidence seems shaky, making him prone to slumps. Like I said earlier, he's also not good enough of a shooter to shoot himself out of slumps, so it's just been a roller coaster ride.

I agree though, he's shown me enough improvement already to deserve some patients. It's just frustrating seeing him nearly unstoppable one game, and unable to hit an open midrange J the next.

BI turned 20 in September.
Lonzo in October.
Randle is 22.

I think inconsistency is to be expected.

Got good tickets to Wed game.....I hope the guys play well.

Missed Ball when I went to a preseason game...so hopefully he's out there. I'd like to think we can beat the 6ers, but I'm taking nothing for granted.

We're playing pretty good D....we just need to keep that up, and let the growth come. I'm not ecstatic about how we're coming along, speedwise....but I'm far from upset. It'll take time.

I was thinking the same thing.

It goes something like this for me:
1)C's-by far and away number one
2)Suns
3)Clips

I used to remember Kobe likes torching the Suns most of the time...they gave us a walking dead Nash (who is past his prime in that trade)who got injured picking up his bag for draft picks we could have used...Who didn't stay in LA to repay the team's goodwill for putting up with him...He could have mentored Lonzo...

Just got home ... haven't seen box socres yet.. But from the sounds of things "MY BOY JC" had a good game :)

So still trade-able considering how consistent he has been this season? <> had 1 maybe 2 bad games - sure he makes bad plays here and there, but can't hold that against him can you? Wonder if he'd be willing to accept less money to stay?

How were the TO"s and Freethrow shooting only 2 things I'm concerned about with this team

With Ingram i'm hoping he continues to suck so we can sign him on the cheap then he breaks out. That's what I tell myself when he has a crap game lol.

Ingram looking weak out there. But on the flip side, another nice game by Lonzo Ball, hitting it from way deep. Gotta remind myself Ingram is just 20. Still think the braids have ruined his game. Needs to bring the frobe back.

If JC plays like this every night, he will be an All-Star!

I want better team play and less forced shots and less pounding the ball basketball. Today was near perfect game for him including ZERO turnovers.

We've sucked since 2012 and the best the Clippers could do is a second-round exit.

Now we're steadily on the rise and they're on the decline/mediocrity train. That may have been the peak limelight of the Clippers franchise. Sad.

In fact, 2nd place in the Pacific Division.
