Lakers interested In M.Kuzminskas

Post#1 » by -Spyda- » Tue Nov 21, 2017 5:27 pm

The Los Angeles Lakers have interest in Mindaugas Kuzminskas.

Kuzminskas was released by the New York Knicks when they had to create a roster spot for Joakim Noah.

The Lakers are in need of perimeter shooting on the wing.

No deal. Lakers don't have roster spot open, the offer was that maybe from the middle of December.

They can always cut Ennis or Bogut.

To my understanding hes not even that good of a shooter. Unless he drastically improved or something.

Knick fan here:

1) Only reason we cut him was because we got stacked at the 3 position
2) Don't expect much defense
3) Pretty decent cutter and finisher, not a great shooter though
4) Not a bad locker room guy either, just don't really know what he can add to the Lakers

Based on that, hard pass. Sounds like we already have a better version of him in Corey Brewer.

I don't know anything about this player, but on first glance, the thing he brings to the table for me is that his last name starts w KUZM

Yeah, we got enough of these. I would way rather have Morrow or Mike Dunleavy. They should both be wearing Lakers jerseys right now.

We might HAVE to sign this kid.

How can we pass on a 6'9" forward with the name "Kuzm....as"?

Kuzm..as has really improved on his 3 point shooting from since his European days where he made more than 1 out of 3. Kuzm..as didnt get many minutes in NY (15 minutes last year, 2 minutes this year) but he could provide more beneficial than Ennis or Blue right now.

is he really that good at 3pt shooting. I mean Bogut is a good presence and Ennis ain't bad but we really do need 3pt shooting.

Is he really a good 3 point shooter?

Pass.
Lakers don't need another 4

Or a slow footed 3
