Jose Calderon has been averaging 30 minutes over the last 2 games. Lonzo better bury that old man and go for 40 and show them why he was the #2 pick.

Nance/Ingram/Lopez on LeBron/Love/Crowder is a problem... A big problem.
I think Id start Randle over Lopez tonight for sure, let Ingram stick to Love, and let Nance and Randle switch on LeBron/Crowder...
This is going to be a tough night for Nance and Kuz...

Weird... They showed the Cavs in the tunnel having a team huddle... Everyone was there but LeBron... I wonder if that's an every game thing... Wade looked like he was leading it.
Guess he doesn't do the shootaround either?

we are obviously overmatched by any team that has Lebron james in it, but as far as matchups go, We absolutely should make this competitive. Lopez shouldn't be too useless tonight. And they are starting former laker great Jose Calderon for christ's sake.

It's getting absurd. There's no way Luke actually thinks Nance's defense intangibles are coming close to compensating for his offense. I mean it's not like we are talking about a scorer in Kuz and an effective low volume offensive player in Nance. We are talking about somehow who doesn't space the floor, and isn't this amazing finisher by any means. He's an offensive liability at this point. Even Loul Deng starting would mean that we have someone that can't be ignored at the three point. Ridiculous how arguably, Nance is our fourth best option at starting at the 4. Certainly on the offensive end, imo.
That said, I love how Ingram seemingly takes these big matchups very personally. Very encouraging from such an inconsistent player that his bigger games have been coming against big names/big teams.

lol just as I go in a rant Nance makes back to back buckets. He's so likable that it's hard not to root for the kid, but the talent discrepancy between him and Kuz is just overwhelming imo.

It's refreshing to make a run right after a timeout

Nance blew 3 defensive assignments in a row...
