I don't get it. How do you gain an award by just writing what others tell you to all the while doing massive brown nosing? The guy doesn't have an opinion of his own.

That sucks.
None of his inside stuff will be released any more as far as Lakers news is concerned.

So I thought Ding was Jeannie's shill... And I thought there was a suspicion that Pelinka was leaking directly to Woj...
So we corralled Ding, so that feed will go silent I assume... Wonder what happens with Woj...

I used to work as a sports reporter, one of my coworkers told me a great story about Ding: Apparently he was on the road in New Orleans and made a chunk of cash playing black jack or something at one of the casinos. He's walking back to his hotel late when some guy steps up and pulls a gun on him. So he pretends he can't speak English, and the guy eventually just wanders off.

Rob still leaks via Woj. Hence, the announcement vs the Celtics that the Lakers are looking for a 1st round pick for Randle.

Did he get let go by bleacher report? Seems like quite the downgrade in becoming a writer for one team’s website, not really a role for reporting or journalism.

I want to believe that this is true

He was key in pushing out Jimmy? Or spreading the negative publicity in pushing out Jimmys reign of terror? The reign that produced the likes of mozgov and Deng??
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT HIRE!!

I don’t think so, he is commissioned to write only once a week for the Lakers, he can bust that up in a day. So I’m sure he is keeping his day job.

What do you think a journalist Pulitzer price winners write about? Science Fiction, biographies, novels? No they write articles on Notable Events Weather and Sports (NEWS) base on interviews, investigations and research. It is the quality of the writing it self (how is written and presented) that sets a writer apart, although Wojo is an anomaly because he is considered a really good reporter because he has the best scoops but his writing could be better.

Bleacher Report isn't exactly 'journalism"

That’s not the only job he has ever had. He used to write some amazing articles for the Orange Country Register

I cannot speak to its veracity. All I can say definitively is that it is a story people tell about Kevin Ding.
