If only Lonzo could start inplace of JC, that would be my preferred starting lineup!
Without his defense, we'll easily give up 115-120 points and I don't see us outscoring them with Harden going to the line every possession.

by what would jack bauer do?
It's crazy how wrong people were about Lonzo's defense. Our defense has been horrible without him. His length has proven to be a giant factor in defending opposing point guards. He may be the first pg ever to average 1 block per game. His defense on top of his elite rebounding and vision spark our offense. It's been awful watching games without him playing, hopefully the guys get it together tonight.

Ball is a BIG piece of our puzzle & makes everyone better on both ends... This could be a tough game tonight watching Harden shoot 20 free throws... Lakeshow Baby...

he needs to get into the game early to stabilize the pace which is really good at. bringing him in for spot minutes in the game do nothing for anybody.

The defense misses Ball for sure but his absence isn't the only issue with our defense. The lineup changes along with teams catching on to the switching is a big part of it as well. When you are missing one starter you can typically cover.... 2 and it's harder.... today we're without 3 and we all know we'll have a lot of WTF lineups out there. Defense is about teamwork and when you have groups on the floor that have logged few minutes together and a system that relies on switching it's not going to be easy to cover for 3 missing players.

I agree. Caruso can play given a chance. He's a true PG and knows how to run an offense. This would put Clarkson back in his typical, and more familiar, spot which I think would be better for him and the team.

Yes, I totally would, too!
Edit- ... and I think Luke would like to do that, too, but then JC would cry, and the politics...

Hopefully Luke is stressing ball movement. It's been really bad out there without Lonzo. A couple catch and shoot three point attempts from Ingram would be nice to see. Even if he doesn't convert them.

Next season we better have at least 2 natural decent PG's ... having just Ball won't cut it incase of injuries
You can't have non pg's running the offense, just doesn't work
JC and Hart ... With this lineup. I'd go nuts and have Hart on Paul, JC on Ariza and Ingram on Harden.
On the defensive end that is
