This game could see the front office make more moves, and it could be more costly than what happened Saturday by waiving Bogut. Facing the Hawks a team the Lakers are only 1 game better than for worst record in the NBA. A loss would tie both teams for worst record and an emotional low for the franchise who thought it would be better than scratching the bottom.
All of this coming on the heels of LaVar Ball opening his mouth and say the team doesn't want to play for Luke and he has lost the team. Only problem with that is that the Lakers aren't going to fire Luke now or in the next year. LaVar needs to shut it up especially after the Lakers told him 2 months ago to chill, they're not going to keep taking this.
And regardless of what media heads say about the team would keep Zo first than fire Luke, that's debatable only because if you're trying to build a championship culture a talking parent is the last ingredient you need in the mix and it's NEVER been an element surrounding a team in contending status.
LaVar will most likely run his mouth too much and get Zo shipped off to some irrelevant eastern team...that's how you shut him the hell up and get him out your business. Teams don't have time to keep baby sitting a damn parent and telling him to chill the hell out.

The hell... talk about an overreaction.

Not sure it is an overreaction in a few ways. The statement was said. The play on the floor reflects the statement doesn't it? Effort and cohesiveness are at an all time low for the team and now the L's are piling up.
Good thing ATL is here... they are another bad team and we could get this to go away for a few days by playing well.
If we lose tonight and the crazy lineups continue the media will feed..... Not saying we trade Ball or anything. This is Magic's guy.... getting rid or the coach is much more up Magic's alley.

I'll be amazed if we lose this one. Probably shouldn't be, but yeah

This game is more about pride than anything. The loser owns the worst record in the NBA.

That should've been an alley oop to Zo.

They find the mismatch again off the switch. Maybe time to change that up.

They look flat and out of sync so far. Let's hope the bench energizes them or this could be another long game.

I'm not going to say Luke has lost the team, or that there is substantial chemistry issues, but this team simply isn't playing anywhere near as hard as it was to start the season, to point that it's clearly obvious just by watching.
Not sure what the issue exactly is, but this is clearly more than just injuries or a lack of talent.

Why the **** is Randle starting? It is not to win games. They are trying to make his crybaby ass happy but he should be coming off the bench as backup center with Nance starting at PF next to Lopez and Kuzma backing him up. The team hasn't had success outside their early rotations which were competitive. Why **** with it?
