We don't have the assets to trade for him without taking on salary for next year.

He's not going to be a Laker so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Agree...no assets. Also, please note that all this torture of freeing up cap space by magic is for players like Lebron, Cousins, George, etc.

Not really close to a fit to be had here.

If I had a dollar for every thread made about an available player per WT since I've been reading this forum, that we should get via signing or trade, I'd be probably dead from a venereal disease by August 2016 at the latest.

according to the fo, it’s getting a superstar or bust. so no. dont think we’ll settle for any lesser tier talent.

No!

For Deng, I'd do it. And he'd have to come off the bench as a small SG if I were the coach.

Chucker. No defense. Shoots in the low 40% range. Think an overpaid JC with less size and even less a conscience, but more speed. Equally clueless that basketball is a team sport.

JC and Kemba have same contract. What you on on overpaid JC? Kemba is miles better player than JC.

Give them JC, Randle, Zubac and 2 2nd rounders and you shed 13-ish mil from your salary room

Magics plan is the big 3 next year - Lebum, George, Cousins and hoping to land any of the one - Magic isn't taking on anyone's contract and I feel If he can't even land 1 of the 3 then he'll wait for the following year and just get ther perfect role players

Im leaning more and more towards Bron. Just look at his options. Staying in Cleveland is not an option. If Cavs don't move that pick for a current assisting Star player, that leans more and more on him leaving.

I think Labron also has his eyes set on his life after basketball. LA is the perfect place for him. He’d be more available (during the season) for some of his other projects living in LA than he is living in Cleveland.

With what piece, if Pelinka gets the spirit of Kupchack and somehow pawns of a package of Deng + scrubs + a 1st for Kemba then sure.

He's basically already a New York Knick, I'm fairly sure. I love Kemba but he's not a fit here unless you don't want Lonzo as your PG...

Mj wants an all star and lakers don't have one, but they won't get rid of Kuzma ball or ingram anyway, so that ends that. Walker might add one or two wins and that's not what lal wants

I really like Kemba, but I wouldn't part with Lonzo, Ingram, or Kuzma for him. Outside of our core 3, I don't think Charlotte is interested in anything we have.
