Cavs are only 2 games away from the pick being the 19th pick in the draft.

God, I wish we had our pick. Mikal Bridges is just about the perfect prospect for us at SG.

Man I want us to drat Micheal Porter. only I can fantasize right lol.

but how about Grayson Allen. I mean he'll probably be there very high recruit. played great as a freshman. yo this dude can shoot where the game is going athletic. can play some sticky defense. kind of a poor poor mans Klay Thompson remember Klay was junior. in our system with our players I like this guy being a shooter. of course I'm thinking of us having Lebron to. lol.

On a lighter note: the Lakers have caught onto the back of the peloton that is the middle 10 teams

For every win the Lakers make up, the pick loses a spot for the Sixers

Need a backup PG or an active, athletic C. PG hopefully is lengthy so he can seemlessly fit into the defensive scheme the Lakers are developing.

My guess is that this pick will be currency to help fill out the roster IF we get the 2 stars. I don't see us cultivating more rookies if we get who they want.... window will be a couple years so my bet is that we go get the typical cast of hanger-on vets to fill out the roster. Now.... if we don't get our "stars" then we may be using the pick but this team doesn't need more youth at this point.

I don't follow college ball, but I've caught a little bit this year.

For those of you in the know, where do you think Bamba will be picked?

I saw one little sample size of defense with some tremendously long armed stops the other week. What little I saw looked good.

He's a projected to go top 5. A big for us in case Lopez doesn't come back and Zu becomes a wash, some have projected Chimezie Metu from USC for the Lakers.

I dig. He already thinks the game the right way on both ends. It almost seems the game is slower to him than the others. Solid, but is he doing it consistently? Would love him on this team if this is what can be expected.

Jontay looks more like a stretch 4 compared to Metu. Metu is closer to a traditional big. If Lakers have no intention of bringing back Lopez or Randle they might pick up Metu. Also Metu has 3 years playing college ball like Kuzma. Lakers just might take him. Jontay has 3pt range, but we have enough 3pt chuckers on this team.
