http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2711861-cast-aside-by-the-nba-royce-white-rediscovering-what-made-him-greatin-canadaI'd love it if we signed Royce and let him play in only home games or games he can travel to by bus. I've had anxiety disorder for 30 years and it really hurts to see him not playing because of it. Also, taking away the pressure being
required to make all the flights would be huge for his anxiety and likely he would be able to take many of them.

I know he's not popular around in these forums but Ive always defended him. I dont have mental disorders but I do empathize with some of the things he talks about. I know a lot of the stuff is very hard to explain and only those close to him or have his plight or been in his shoes will really understand.
I would like to see him play as well under those conditions. Not because he can help the team, but it would be a great gesture to put out there that can encourage future young people w these sort of personal issues which they cannot help.

Have you tried exposure therapy?

I have, and it does work but it's exhausting because it doesn't travel - exposure to one triggering situation will help you cope with that speicific situation. In my case, bridges and overpasses are very tough - I've trained myself to go over the ones around my home, but each one required the same exposures and repetitions. Getting so i could drive over one didn't translate to the others. Each is a unique challenge. No idea why this is so, but there it is.
I've done about every therapy there is and honestly, Ativan is my friend. Not so severe as it was when I was younger and maybe it'll subside as I age

This is the NBA. Such accommodations for a fringe player would be ridiculous.

I don't disagree but as a 14th-15th guy on the bench he might be the guy worth only being able to play at home or by bus. I mean Thomas Bryant can't get off the bench, Deng has played 1 minute. Those are the end of bench guys in LA.

No. This is the NBA, and if he wants to play, he'll do whatever he needs to do to get back on an NBA court. If that's what he wants.

Going to a league where he won't have to use a plane.
Whilst America doesn't have some kind of high speed rail that ain't them.
Maybe China perhaps? They kind of got that high speed rail going for them.

Interesting case. I didn't know that.

he could use the train, i think they have high speed rail throughout the places he would need to go, it would be slower but it would be fast enough i guess.

Doing it once is a different thing, you can tranquilize yourself etc. Can't do that when you need to fly almost daily

Ice Cubes 3 on 3 league doesn't require a plane ride right? he should sign with a team.

Would probably be a decent fit in the league and given that other D League/Euro guys are playing with the washed up stars, it wouldn't be a bad idea
