Nwamba is a UFA. time to bring him back i'd say (a lockdown defender like that, sign me up, use the other roster space for a C).

I like Nwaba but he became a UFA because he wanted either more money and/or most years. I dont know if the Lakers will give him anything more than Svi-type contract.

I expect the Lakers to try and add another vet shooter. I was expecting them to go after a big in Frye/West after exhausting all other possible scenarios. Or they could go after a 3rd point guard in Napier or vet sg in Wade if he doesnt resign with Miami.

Too many better options than Nwaba although I wouldnt be mad if they went after Nwaba and his tenacious defense and energy with improving shot.

Spurs lose their two best players and get just Butler in return?

Spurs whether or not they want to admit will be rebuilding soon

What about something like Kuzma and Deng for Marc Gasol:
Grizz get younger for rebuild
Lakers get defensive passing center with a 3 ball
Lakers dump Deng

Almost makes too much sense

Not really. Gasol has an option for 25M next year. If he opts in, it eliminates the possibility of signing Kawhi or Klay. Don't see this as a possibility given what type of team the Lakers appear to be building.

Why is everyone willing to trade my boy KING KUZ or Ingram?

I understand it's to get rid of Deng - but I doubt that's going to happen - maybe we can play him some minutes along with bron to make him look good - LOL - bring that value back up, but until then it ain't happening

And no way in hell do you trade 2 of the young 4 guns just to get rid of Deng.

And no you don't trade away them to get a top 5 player like KL (maybe trade 1 at most) - we getting him for nothing next year along with other FA's

So apart from those 2 above, is there any other reason to trade them? NO! we should keep them

KING KUZ and Ingram gonna be next big thing

How about staying put and watching our young stars break out and kick ass for a full and hopefully healthy season?

How about looking to fill out the roster as needed, from a higher plane of knowledge and with a huge pool of free agents, next off-season?

Unless something great falls in our lap, now or before TD, I say let’s stay put with the greatly improved roster we already have this very second.
