Beal wouldn't be half bad because LeBron James is a superstar and a half himself. However it's the alternatives that are available that makes it not worth considering. We always knew we were giving up good options this season for greater ones in 2019.

I'd do a package around Kuzma + picks for him. We'd need to find a stretch 4 after that though

Ball - Beal - Lebron - ??? - McGee

Not just Kawhi, but Durant, Jimmy Butler, Cousins and who knows else. I wouldn't be totally distraught if Magic made the move. Beal is a bonafide second or third option. Isn't a diva. 25 years old. Scorer and 3 point specialist. His contract is locked up. Would fit right in.

Beal at best is a 3rd tier star, no way he’s good enough to be the second best player on a title contender.

I think he can be a second option on a championship team but he would have to elevate his game to be a 26-28PPG scorer whilst retaining his current percentages. I think the right situation could see him really show his worth.

Does Lonzo, Ingram and KCP get us Wall?.... If so I'd do that. Question is.... would Washington?

Easily. Hell, Lonzo, KCP and filler alone would do it. But we don't want Wall on that contract. And I'm a huge fan of him.

That's a gross over-payment for Wall... And borderline knee-jerk... Wall's contract is going to make him virtually untradeable... That's why they're broadcasting that he's available.

You're essentially going all-in for a LeBron/Wall pairing and Wall is 38 years old and has a ton of mileage.

I like what Wall brings to the court too... But in a 3rd best player on a Championship team, sort of way...

I think this is the end-goal:

Lonzo, Hart, KD or Kawhi, LeBron,(trade bait for AD)
Rondo, Lance, Wagner, Tyson

That means Kuz and Ingram should be trade bait for AD. The ideal situation would be to flip them now with KCP for a young quality starting C with potential to grow. That way you have a quality C to compete now and can hold out on the Pelicans.

So I think the only considered trades should be Kuz and Ingram for a young PF/C

Ingram has to be signed so if he is not will to take a reasonable deal or short term.

Trade him or let him walk like Randle.

This Summer I think Klay or AD would fit best with Lebron

But it KD or Kawahi wants to sign make it work.

I don't get that. I want to be relevant again.... not have "potential". Bron has 3 more years.... Wall has 6 more. I'd take him in a heartbeat. He can do everything Lonzo is thought to be able to do in 3 or 4 years now. The difference is that we know Wall can do it.

Ingram does not need to be signed for two more years so his contract does not matter for this summer.

Ingram and Kuzma for TJ Warren

Phoenix get a PF and could start Ingram at PG. Run with Ingram, Booker, Bridges, Kuzma, Ayton.

Lakers get a solid piece now with a fantastic contract.
Lonzo, Hart, Warren, LeBron, McGee
Rondo, KCP, Lance, Wagner/Beasley, Chandler

Well I think TJ Warren is possibly the most underrated NBA player, he probably produces as well as Beal or Porter but is less than half the price per year, locked up for 3 more after this. This might sound insane but just look out for TJ this year and over the past year. He looks impressive and his stats are backing it up.

He's the sort of prospect you'd want if you couldn't get a decent PF/C, he has potential but is already producing already and will likely value more over the season. Plus you can always trade him on for a PF/C when it comes up.

TJ Warren is the Kyle Kuzma of SFs. I wouldn't trade Kuzma on a cost controlled deal for him let alone add Ingram on top. He also happens to play the same position as our best player.

I love watching him, too, but $45mil a year and up for four years? No thanks

Wall is a third option on a championship team as mentioned above, assuming he could score at all without dominating the ball.
NBA titles since the merger: LAL 11, CHI 6, SAS 5, BOS 5, GSW 4.
