Both of them? That would be mighty ambitious. Intriguing nonetheless.

Lonzo would be a nice piece to have playing alongside AD.

I keep reading trade chatter re: AD, but not included is why NO would trade one of the best players in the league when he still has another year left on his contract. I could understand talking about it next year if he makes it known he will opt out and leave, but why this year?

I wouldn't trade any of those guys

We're going to (1) need as many 3&D guys as we can stack for the playoffs and (2) ain't nobody letting wings that can defend and shoot go

Trade Lance or Beas, and a 2nd rounder for Ellington. Kind of like the Korver trade.

Why? For basketball reasons.

In addition, if AD’s new agent (LBJ’s agent) told them that if they’re not a playoffs team by Christmas, he’ll go through hell and back to get AD traded, they might entertain offers.

In a rebuild mode — Ball, Ingram, KCP (exp), Zubac is an offer hard to beat even for Annie Ainge.

They should agree to trade him for Ingram, KCP, Svi, Zubac, 2021 SRP.

For basketball reasons.

Well, if it there is anything to this, it won't be KCP, it will be Lance. And no way they make the trade without getting both Ingram and Ball. Lance and Zubac makes the money work (barely). NO would probably just cut Lance and Zubac.

Edit. Actually, I was looking at Lonzo's 2019 number, not 2018, so that doesn't work. Would have to throw in Svi.

By the way: F you KD.
I wonder if his comments actually bring another star in to prove to everyone that they are mentally tough

So let me get this straight. The youth are hard pressed to get better with LeBron and now it's vocalized that free agents stars will be hard pressed to come to LA because of LeBron. Ill be patient and also take the talk with a grain of salt but this feels bad. We also have our coach on the chopping block already.

I like Ingram, but I just don't see a future for him on this team, not now and especially not next year.
And let's be realistic here, his metrics are atrocious, his ceiling is still high but he's not fetching the moon on the market with his play right now.

Ingram for Bogdan Bogdanovic and Kings 1st is a deal made in heaven for me. Bogdan is not a FA, but has only one year left at 8.5 mil which is a bargain. We get to not only keep him, but keep most of the FA money as well, since Ingram would be due 7.3 mil next year.
Sure, the pick would consume some of the cap space as well, but not enough to not afford a MAX FA(sans Durant), but will likely end up in the teens and we can get a solid prospect there who can contribute right away.

Bogdan is a deadly shooter, very underrated playmaker, has good size to play the 3. Only 26. Absolutely perfect glue guy to have on future contender.

Kings take a gamble that Ingram pans out and fullfills his ceiling as a no.1 option.

Great out side the box and under the radar trade idea, but we would be lucky to get Bogdan straight up for BI imo. No need for Sac to include the pick. We really need to stop over valuing our players. No disrespect. Just in general, a lot of us do it particularly with BI for some reason. BI for Bogdan straight up would be fair for both teams. SAC has a hole at SF and a surplus at SG. Lakers have LBJ at SF and need shooters.

I think nobody is being traded for AD. I don’t think we really need to trade anyone at all right now, but if — IF — we can get AD by trading two-three undeveloped stars, you’d better believe Magic would want to pull the trigger. Keeping Lonzo (perfect PG for LBJ and AD) will be very tough.

I don’t think he’ll demand out just yet, but we’d better have thought about it before he demands out, strike in a second.

As far as Ingram goes, he’s getting better at playing off the ball by the game. We’ll be fine as we are.

I’d expect the ball to start swinging around lots more while Ingram is out. Lonzo and LBJ will gel. Blessing in disguise?

I doubt the Lakers would take Wall for free considering the salary would block all flexibility.
