Giving the baggage and distraction he would likely bring with him, I can't see how the Lakers or any other team for that matter would want to take a chance on a fringe prospect.

so, if Lonzo aint playing summer, and whole premise is that he plays really well with his brother, we won't see that at all and he'll be hard pressed to make the G league

I wonder how much the hate LiAngelo gets is due to his Father's antics and how much is based on his actual basketball skills. will we ever know?

I honestly wonder how he will do. I think he has the least talent of him and his brothers. His shot though can be smooth. He reminds me of Voshon Leonard. Maybe his ceiling is Kerry Kittles if he focuses in on things.

The Lakers should tell him you will never play for the Lakers. this codlining to Lonzo has to stop. we are acting like this guy is Lebron James.

Yes Liangelo Ball will be on the Summer league squad. if Liangelo is anybody who played anything in the NBA he would be Kris Johnson. who played at UCLA. Under the rim great shooter. Junk game. gets rebounds. has no handles.

would just be a catch and set shooter. No real post ups around the Rim. maybe some post. he's 6,4 6,5. you gotta play defense on guys hows that going to work?

to even be consideration on an NBA roster. he has to be an exceptional shooter. He's not Lebron but his finish is not good at all. there were these dudes that played at Fairfax I think Aaron Ship. one played at Cal. maybe he's like that.

Please no more lonzo ball or his family.
Let's move on to making this a killer team.

He wasn't a legitimate NBA level recruit coming out of high school and he sure as hell isn't one now. I hate LiAngelo because he's garbage.

If he can make the Lakers roster, anything is possible. Keep your hopes and dreams alive.
He aint makin' no NBA roster.

He's better off helping build the family business in the BBB League. We don't need Lavar whining on TV because he's riding the pine with the South Bay Lakers.

Maybe he can have a chance in South Bay Lakers, and if he plays hard and all of a sudden becomes a much better player, why not?

This is exactly what I’m talking about. I’ve seen his high school games and he was pretty good so did he not make the legitimate NBA level recruit list because of Lavar? He didn’t have a chance to show his skills in college but yet he is considered garbage. I’m not saying he is as good as Lonzo all I’m saying is that imo he is not getting a fair look at what he can actually do because of the hate for Lavar.

We're going to differ in opinion then because what i saw from LiAngelo was unathleticism, tweener size, and just kind of jack of all trades master of none type player. He can dominate high school because its high school and if you have any talent/size its not hard to yam on 16 year olds.

It's hard for me to discount a guy who can drop 72 in a professional game no matter what league it's in... I'm sorry, but there just aren't a lot of guys who can do that period.
That said, I pray we don't waste a draft pick on a guy we could easily just give a camp-invite to.
