Got traded from the number one party destination to a boring city, but atleast he was playing for championships.

Was a promosing piece of our core and now a half year later he turned into a scrub.

How things looked got but boy did they go wrong for Clarkson.

I feel bad for him too, he was our best and most reliable scorer, but it seems the playoffs pressure has eaten him alive. He can't hit a shot to save his life and his family's. I've seen some Cavs games in these playoffs and he has been such a terrible player, a non-factor out there. Same goes to Nance, who hasn't played any minute for a while.

Tarik Black played 4 minutes of garbage time for the Rockets today. Are you seeing a pattern?

He was never good. We just had such a garbage roster he got a lot of time and shots.

I know it's not all about money but I'm happy he got paid. I want all these young dudes to make as much money as they can.

he’s been playing for a lottery team and now finally able to prove his worth on a championship contender. why feel sorry about that? he’s been geeting 10-15 minutes off the bench in the playoffs and it doesn’t seem like he’s maximizing his opportunities. maybe he needs to not suck then?

Man the entire trio of Nance, Clarkson, and Rodney Hood have been really disappointing this post season. They could've really expanded their 'brand' and names with nice showings playing with LeBron deep into the later playoff rounds. I thought at least one of them would seize the moment and shine.

I think Nance will do well with a training camp, he is the kind of guy that needs to feel comfortable in a situation before showing his full potential. Clarkson and Hood on the other hand are lost causes. They might offer no more than the QO to Hood and he won't be getting anything better elsewhere either.

I have no sympathy for Clarkson and Larry.

If Clarkson wants to be an NBA player, he needs to change his game. Luckily for him, he got a really good deal when the market was at it's finest. He won't be getting a deal like that again unless something drastically changes with his game.

Nance has the same issues with Cleveland as he had with us. And it's really hilarious this front office almost chose him over Julius Randle. Earvin and Rob got lucky.

he got a fair shake on a team with championship aspirations, his contract is nice, and he'll be back to his comfort zone of being on crappy team again next year.

Don't cry for his ball hoggin ass

Despite being a late round draft pick, he found himself on a roster/team where he was handed a starting spot, credit to him for making the most of that.

Later he found himself a free agent during the limited time when the most lucrative contracts in nba history were being handed out, which he was able to cash in.

And now that the lakers were ready to move on from him, he landed on a title contender where he was given every opportunity to shine on a big stage.

What’s there to feel bad about?

I honestly thought Lebron would make JC and Larry play better, especially Larry. But I was def wrong. They just aren't good players and not ready for playoff basketball.

I don't feel bad for him. He's making millions playing the game he loves.

Some of you guys are missing the picture. It's all about Luke Walton.

Can't really hate on him if he doesn't even play. I understand his recent struggle with playoff pressure, but Cavs/Coach Lue have made some screwy decisions, especially in Game 2.

I don't feel bad for him. He did ok for the Cavs in the regular season considering he changed teams mid-season. He was never a high IQ player, so considering that, he did just fine. He was never a starter quality player. The Lakers had him pegged as a 6th man because of the talent deficit here, not because of his ability. He will have a long career in the league simply because he's good enough to do so. I won't judge him by these playoffs this year. But I will say what he's doing isn't really unexpected either. THE GUY HAS BEEN THE SAME PLAYER EVERY SINCE HE WAS A ROOKIE. Let that sink in.

He was not a promising piece of our core.

He doesn't make the players around him better. He is a poor man's Lou Williams. I'm happy we unloaded him.

A player like him comes a dime a dozen. He wasn't even supposed to carve out an NBA career, let alone get a good contract and produce some points. Dude worked really hard on his game every offseason to become maybe a 6th, 7th man off the bench high usage scorer. He'll always be just that. On a contender, he's good enough to give you 8-12 points a game and maybe knock down a 3 and swing a close game, but he's no shutdown defensive asset or a guy who can move the ball, set picks, and roll off screens. He just doesnt know how to do that.

So much this. It’s one thing for Clarkson to be a ball hog, but he’s a ball hog that plays no d. He’s nowhere near good enough to have two massive strikes against him like that.

Nance, much as I like him, is just a limited player. That said, I think he’d be better in the role that the Cavs ask of Tristan Thompson than TT himself.

I dont think Clarkson feels bad for Clarkson.

Besides the fact he left LA Nightlife.
