think his health/durability is probably the biggest concern surrounding lonzo, more so than his shot. hope he holds up.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up playing soon with a minutes restriction.

Was this the knee he injured against Dallas spinning in the past on DSJ?
That said, glad he's getting it stronger in the weight room. He's got to turn his physical shortcomings into strengths

Shades of DAngelo with knee issues. At least this is from a contact injury.

Ball and ingram are so fragile that they make it easy for lebron and Paul George to say trade their ass if we come in. Not a good look for Lonzo to miss 30 games and still be having knee pain but concentrate on a bs rap tour. Same goes for Ingram missing 23 games with only 33 mins a night.
No talent is wasting their time on young talent who isn’t ready and proven or tough enough to compete nightly.
They should be living at a gym, learning to shoot free throws, and conditioning to take contact and play games nightly

Pretty sure Ingram was shut down and could have played.

This is my biggest concern with Lonzo also. I suspect he doesn't place much value on nutrition or weight lifting. He's at an age where most feel they can eat whatever he/she pleases, and is also virtually indestructible. The few clips/videos I've seen of Lonzo, it appears he eats like crap. It is also quite evident how weak he is. In time I expect he'll begin to take care of his body more. I would be much more concern if he were 25 and had a similar physique and lifestyle.

I think this is magic’s And Pelinka’s concern too and is why they showed him pics at his exit interview of how the bodies of elite players changed from their rookie year to year two. They told him this was the biggest summer of his life and needed to hit the weights and get stronger to be able to absorb contact without getting injured.

What the hell do you think they have been doing since the season ended.

Lonzo has always wore a knee pad/sleeve on that left knee since college, but always just called it a swag pad. I always felt that was a weird thing to say, I really hope he wasn't hiding anything pre draft.

Ingram played 79 games his rookie season so at least he has that under his belt. He also got shut down towards the end of the season I feel like that 23 games missed could've been 12-15 if we were in the playoff hunt. Lonzo is still a question mark tho, hopefully some muscle will help him. He's as scrawny as Ingram.

A good side effect of signing LeBron is that he's going to be a shining model of physical strength and health.
What better role model than to get these kids gymming towards their max potential?

More like better role model than to get these kids to cry to the refs about every when you don't get your way.

This is a really bad sign about Lonzo's future health.
To be so young and to have missed so many games and to need PRP treatment.
This team desperately also needs a heady backup vet PG who can step in and start or play big mins as we coddle Lonzo's health. Jarret Jack at the low end and Jeremy LIn at the high end (hopefully he gets bought out), would be ideal pickups for the minimum.

Well he needs to tone that down some so I can tolerate him.

Yeah... Russell had "knee soreness" from day one it seemed with no evidence of any real injury. Ball did have the Knee bruise but this seems a little drastic to me unless he's not been responding to traditional therapies.
What is it with these kids and knees? Too many games too young?

This isn’t good?
When this happens, something is wrong
