We are a day away ladies and gents. Here we go! Will we swing for the fences with plan b, will we package picks for Leonard, what will do tomorrow? Discuss. Also if you hear any news on trades today like the Dwight trade feel free to post in here regarding the draft.

If we aren’t doing the Leonard trade and if George appears gone we shouldn’t wait around for bron. I agree with the plan b. Grab the 4th pick and Parsons. Draft a young big and we have a hell of young team.

You aren't getting that 4th pick without trading Lonzo or Ingram.

The strategy changes based on what the Lakers know. For instance, if they truly believe that LBJ, PG and (maybe) Kawhi are coming they may want to draft the rights to someone overseas that they can stash there OR they may want someone who can contribute right away for a contender like Spellman (Villanova) or Allen (Duke).

Or like you said... the pick(s) are already traded.

I would assume this means they have a deal lined up that includes the 25th pick...

Are the Lakers moving up? We just saw Mozgov and 2 seconds traded for an expiring contract. There might be hope with Deng!

At this point, I'm a tad confused on the timing of this deal. Apparently the Sixers have received the max amount of cash, and so they can't accept more cash until after the start of the new year. So...I don't think that's part of a trade up. Or it'd be a bit more confusing since it'd have to be a 3-team deal.

Gonna need some bodies to replace those lost when they trade 3 for Leonard.

Our scouting department has earned the benefit of the doubt in that range....if we are making such a trade we are either realistically going to move up or we have a potential steal ready in that spot.....it's a minor move that might easily not end up being anything significant, but again, the scouting department has earned the benefit of the doubt....i'm excited for tomorrow, even if all we have to show for it are two late picks.
