Watching the games and the highlights of him I'm still thinking he'll have his issues with the speed and strength of the NBA front courts. He can shoot facing up with space but the moves in the paint he's doing in SL will be shut down big time by NBA bigs I'm afraid. He tracks the ball well on the defensive rebounding side of things and has a feel for the offensive game and spacing.

If he becomes a spot up shooting change of pace guy off the bench that's pretty good for the draft position.

Wagner looks to be a bust so far and no matter how he does, highly likely he'll be shipped out in any future trade package as trade filler.

The better Wagner does, increases his trade value, and thus means less for the LAL to send out (like another future FRP).

Sadly the team NEEDS a starting C right now. Boi is gonna get thrown to the wolves soon after Zubac fails test.

There is a reason why the Lakers passed on some of the centers available.
You might not understand it right now but Magic/Pelinka have multiple options and scenarios setup to
continues this "sustainable success" path and I doubt it involved closing the door on a rookie without giving him at
least a few months or a year.

You guys are misreading and misquoting me out of context.

Has he shown to be a bust SO FAR. Absolutely yes, when he has played he's looked slow and unimpressive. His trade value is at the absolute minimum, until he gets on the court and shows what he can do on the NBA floor.

Also no matter how he does, whether he breaks out or stays a bust, he's likely gonna get moved in any future trade, cuz we need salary filler to build up to go grab another disgruntled star like AD.

I'm rooting for the kid, cuz he's donning the purple and gold, but so far, it's not looking good.

As i said, cant hit on em all and Clarkson, LNJ, Kuzma, and Hart has spoiled us.
