Summer League 2018 Thread

Since nobody wants to do it, guess I'll have to sacrifice yet again. 8-)

Thread is not called Las Vegas Summer League because we're actually playing in the newly founded Sacramento League as well.

Schedule is as follows:

Sacramento:

vs Kings, July 2
vs Heat, July 3
vs Warriors, July 5

Las Vegas, Preliminary Round

vs 76ers, July 7
vs Bulls, July 8
vs Knicks, July 10

We'll probably have two rosters with the crammed schedule, I think only a few guys might play in both, and they will probably be the guys without a guaranteed contract.

We've signed 4 guys until now with different contracts:

These guys will probably join Wagner, Mykhailiuk, Hart, Caruso, Payton II, Bryant. As we all know, Kuzma and Ball are not doing Summer League this year. Bonga I'm not sure, I'm going to say no for now.

We should be very attractive place for all the remaining tall athletic undrafted C to try to showcase for. That's a glaring need for us, a hyper athlete paint protector who does all the dirty work down low.

One of my target Billy Preston, a first round pick talent , will play for the Cavs in summer league.

Would have liked to see Trevon Duval play for us as well...surprised he went undrafted.

He'll play for the Rockets.

Remember the trade isn’t official yet. Lakers and Bonga have to wait till the 6th.
