This is awful news. They "protected" him down the stretch because they wanted him to get to the off-season. He missed the first month and a half of the off-season with a PRP injection. Now he'll miss the remainder of the off-season because of a torn meniscus.

Meniscus tears are fairly minor injuries but it doesn't give much hope for his durability.

Kid is soft... Played 50 games as a rookie now hurt in his “big offseason”... He will be an injury risk for his entire career...

This is horrible news.. he basically misses the entirety of "his most important offseason"
but the timing of this is very suspicious to me

I believe Jahlil Okafor had a meniscus tear and he wasn't 100% for a while. So who knows.
