DLo is really playing lights out this month.
30/7 tonight with 0TOs. Averaging 24/7 for the months in only 30 minutes. Nets are 11-3 during that span.

Yeah, and that include his usual duds, albeit less frequent this month than the rest of his career.
But he still had 5, 10 and 12 pt games in January.
With Dipo out, he's making the All-Star team for sure. First guy drafted by us who makes it since Marc Gasol.
If we include players that have actually played for us, it's Bynum.

Mitch's boy are starting to blossom in their teams. Genuinely happy for them.

I think we saw a glimpse of that lesson against the Sixers.

It takes damn near our whole team to trade for AD and Mavs get a all star for a unproven rookie and wes matthews and DeAndre Jordan?!? Something is fishy here...

They took on Hardaway and Lee's contracts too, which amount to 30 mil next year. But ya, they got a superstar. Lot of people have forgotten how insane Porzingis is.
This move puts the Knicks in the offseason picture in a big way. Not a good day for the Lakers.

Glad to see his season getting recognized. Don’t think he would’ve made these strides here, and still think the trade worked out for both.

Nuggets are legitimately 10 deep. Wish we had the likes of a Monte Morris, Malik Beasley, or Torrey Craig.

Kyrie has stated that he'll play with AD if he goes to La. So here what you do ... Trade everyone for AD except Bron. Once you get AD ... Then Sign Kyrie in FA ... After signing Kyrie, you trade Broin for KL to the Raptors - Who says no to that? You then roll with AD,KL, Kyrie and bunch of role players and build around the 3 core ... Happy days. the drama queen of Bron will be over and we'll all be happy - sorry Bron fans, it is what it is.

It’s impressive how all the trade drama in the NBA is somewhat overshadowing the NFL and Superbowl weekend.

Re: Around The NBA X
D'Angelo made steady steps each season; nice to see how his assists went up. His passing ability is too good, and it was one of the things that I felt the Lakers really didn't use and develop enough. Still, he's not a good defender, and that's likely for his career. I think he'll have a career resembling Goran Dragic's.
But I prefer Lonzo's elite defense and low footprint, big impact game. Lonzo made huge strides in his sophomore year - his 41%/33% shooting is getting close to league averages which leaves only one weakness - free throws. Lonzo is projecting to be pretty close to Jason Kidd, who also took a few years to fix his free throws.
Gotta give kids a chance.
