Crazy comeback win putting up 44/12. You also have Randles 45 point game in less than a week. I said Magic could not evaluate talent and was a terrible hire but 90% of fans just jumped on the bandwagon.

If by that you mean due to our lack of ability to coach, develop, properly sign fits around our players, etc., then yeah I agree.

Watching Russell excel this year is an absolute joy to watch..... and he's only 23.

I love that he's having a moment but the moment you max him, the scale of expectation completely changes for him and it won't be pretty. He's shooting exceptionally well in the mid range, still struggles to draw fouls or defend etc.

I don't think he gets the max, he might, but I doubt it. Marks is pushing the spurs culture which means take less for the team. Wojo will then right a piece on Russell's growth and his willingness to take a discount to benefit the team.

Either Phoenix or Orlando whichever one doesn't get Ja'Morant is going to throw the max at him.

Re: Around The NBA X
John Ireland told an interesting Kobe story on the radio yesterday. He said before a game Kobe was working on a baseline drop step( I think). After watching Kobe a few times he went up to him and said, " aren't you traveling when you do that move?" Kobe said absolutely, Ireland responded, then why are you doing it? Kobe said because based on where the referee should be located on the court he will never see me move my left foot. I probably messed up the story but his point was kobe's attention to detail was insane to the point that he knew where the refs are suppose to be stationed at any givin time.

Chicago would be a great landing place too, Dunn sucks.

Ball and Klay beats a back court of Fox and Russell.
Ball and Beverly does, too. So does Ball and Jrue.
Defense. Fox and Russell don’t play defense other than anticipation steals.
