Demar Derozan trade proposal

If the Spurs refuse to accept LA’s trade proposal for Kawhi, expect the Lakers to turn to hometown boy and perennial allstar Demar Derozan!!
That same package offered for Kawhi will likely get done if offered for Demar. Kuzma, Randle, Ingram and picks for Demar would be a win-win situation for both teams.
Once that deal is complete, I could see Magic going after Demarcus Cousins!!
The Lakers big 3 of Lebron, Derozan and Cousins would be VERY tough to beat!
Don’t sleep on Magic going after Demar Derozan; I’ve already heard whispers from within the organization that Lakers management LOVE Demar.

Magic loves Demar, he’s a hometown boy and a perennial allstar! Lakers will take a good look at him if Kawhi proposal doesn’t go thru.

Derozan was good this past season. Liked the way he stepped up his game, but no thanks. The guy shrinks in the playoffs.

This. Don’t know why but I always sort of rooted for the guy. He looked ready to take the next step but came up really short when it counted. I like the guy but he’s not worth kuz, Ingram, randle and picks. If the lakers won’t do that for kawhi, there’s no way they do it for derozan, who is not even on the same tier. That would just smell of desperation. There’s still 2019 to look forward to with kawhi.
