Why was Tyler Ennis Released?

Hello,
I am a Canadian and went to the same school as Tyler’s sister.
I haven’t been able to watch any Lakers’ games because time zone difference.
Can anyone analyze why he was released? Is he worse than josh hart? I know LeBron came, but can someone enlighten me to his play in game.

Caruso isn't that good either, at least not NBA standard.
for a 3rd string he is at least he can run the point etc not saying his great/best etc but for a 3rd string guy his alright

There was no need for him anymore. With the addition of Rondo and probably the return of IT, and plus Caruso, Ennis has no place in this team anymore.
And to answer your other question, the rookie Josh Hart is waaaayyyyy better than Ennis.
