We gotta give him props Magic did it. We gotta give Jeanie props Big Jeanie did it she brought a superstar to the Lakers. she brought Magic Back. and you gotta give Rob props for working on the cap. scouting the right guys to play with Lebron. working on Lebron and his camp Rich Paul. it was a great effort by the team and the front. office.

I want to give Big Magic Johnson Props. I said if he brought the Free agents like he said I would give him props this isn't about next seasons free agent class. this was always about One Free agent Lebron James and Magic brought him to L.A.

The Dlo trade makes all the sense had to get rid of that horrible contract for Cap to sign Lebron.

now you have Lebron this is a championship team because with Lebron everybody will be able to score.

and in our lineup with Ball no spot for Dlo now we go Ball Ingram Lebron Kuzma and Magee or sign someone else. I just like this team so much.

and Rob He's a great negotiator he knows all the players. he knows what to say. he was organized with how he wanted to make this team a championship team a championship team and he did it. I cannot think of a better hire for GM then Rob Pelinka. Magic was genius with that.

Magic said he was going to recruit top free agents, something mitch and Jimmy couldn't do. Thats the standard he was held to. To bring in the top talent. And hes delivered.

They certainly did deliver. I'm still bummed that Randle walked away for so little. I think that was a mistake.

But Magic / Rob inherited a team that was back-to-back-to-back pure rubbish. A team with half it's salary promised to Deng, Mozgov, and Clarkson...for about 3 years. With is young future-star a knucklehead, who was self-entitled.

I think Rob / Magic have done pretty damn well in a 16 months.

While I agree with your overall sentiments......your counting eggs here. Some good work being done, but still have a ways to go before we go calling ourselves champions. This team ain't hoisting a title.

Jeannie take a lot of crap on this board but in the end LeBron signed with the Lakers on her watch. I'm not sure where LeBron ranks in regards to free agent signings but it's gotta be one of the biggest in franchise history. Ramona eluded to Jeannie making the power play to give Kobe his last extension while he was hurt played a roll in signing LeBron. Players recognize when a franchise takes care of there legends. So props to her, she's been through a lot.

Had Mitch and Jim not been fired we probably maxed out Randle last off season and then still be playing Russell with the idea that he's progressing
