Hey Lakers fans, can ya'll please not pursue Kawhi after this season - he's the best player we've theoretically ever had. Our all-time line-up sports Antonio Davis in our starting line-up. We need this.

Tell mgmt that ya'll don't want Kawhi and that he should resign in Toronto.

Ya'll are stacked anyways with LeGoat, Hart, Ingram, Ball, Kuzma... you'll get your 'chip. Plus ya'll have that nice weather thing going on.

Derozan doesnt play defence and he cant shot which I cant stand anymore.....i like him a lot as a person

Klay is a perfect fit IMO, coming off 4 championships with the Warriors and still in his prime. Shooter, defender, slasher he'd be perfect next to LBJ.

I feel like this trade extended our realgm family

Raps win this trade all day long even if he walks, while RC and Pop literally cut their nose off to spite their face and are staring down the barrel of life in san antonio past a dynastic run. The 1st is top 20 protected? Holy crap... I have a hard time believing Demar is even an allstar candidate with the packed wings of the west.

Pelagic proved they aren't going to mortgage the future, which is looking nice.

It's another year for Ingram to show we don't need Kawhi... Totally fine with that.

Also totally fine watching the Klay/Cousins situations on the Warriors and see who they decide to keep.. But it's also another year for Kuzma to show we don't need Klay... So all good there, too...

And on top of that, we still have ball... Who has a year to show he's a much better option next to LeBron than Jimmy Butler.

feels like we avoided the bs the Thunder fell into at the very least by shipping young talent out prematurely and saddling ourselves with cap hits until we know what we are sitting on.

Raps fans have always been classy especially towards us Lakers fans when ever other fan base seemingly despises us. I actually love this trade for the Raptors regardless if Kawhi stays of leaves. I know Raps fans loved Demar but his game just isn’t suited for todays game especially at that price so at worst they are going to be able to get out of his contract.

I can only speak for myself here, but I always somewhat liked the Raptors. As a fan, you guys always had fun to watch players through the years. Kawhi is my favorite player in the league, so I want him on the Lakers bad, but I wish you guys well in the rebuild. I would offer you guys a mid season trade of Ingram alone. I feel like that would be dope for both teams. He'd give you guys a star in the making for sure. Good luck this season, but not too much luck 8-)

If its accurate DeRozan was told they wouldn't trade him at SL then that's pretty low. Anyone know if its true?

Its probably even more dirty then Boston flipping IT after opting to play with a dead sister on his hands. Spurs go from one disgruntled star to another. I love it. lol

If Kawhi is animated that he will be going to LA, but wants that max bird rights contract, I think a Kawhi for Ingram + 1st rounder (late) would be a good haul for both teams. We ended up trading DeRozan for Ingram, and we go in another direction.

Not a chance of this happening.
We'll wait this out until next summer.
We'll get him without giving up Ingram or draft picks.
Now that'll be a good haul for us.
