Curious to see what our projected cap space for next year is.

Oh PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ be a sizable buyout in 19/20. Like him giving up 6mil, so we only owe him 12.8m in 19/20, that gets stretched.

If he wants to play so bad, he needs to give up a bunch of chedder.

Deadline to use the stretch for the 18-19 season was yesterday. Starting to day, using the stretch only affects 19-20 season, which for the lakers is ideal.

**** yeahhhhhh.

There's literally one guy left on the team from the Mitch/Jim era, and that's Zubac. Crazy to think of actually, we're basically 18 months away from the dual firing.

It gives us room for a max contract.

Brandon Ingram was traded?

Good call, drafted the same year as Zubac. Totally missed him.

So there's two.

I mean I'm happy the situation is resolved, and everything...
But not sure what the big deal with all this is... This is literally NBA GM 101, level basic.

Thank the gods above!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And we didn't have to throw anything in on some trade! Well played on that end. Let's just hope he left some $$$ on the table, and it wasn't us giving him everything he wanted.

I guess I prob don't care. That wretched, unholy, contract is in the past. I'd like for us to walk away with a little concession on his part, but the main part that matters is taken care of.

3rd holdover: Our playoff drought. Hopefully we get rid of him this year.

Glad to see this cancerous player (contract, to be more accurate) is gone.
