This is a popular thread so far.

I say we go 5-1 just because these guys are too pumped to be experienced about it all. We’ll lose one unexpectedly against Kings or Nuggets. We’ll go 2-0 against GSW.

Your predictions, please...

5 of 6... I think we'll split one with GSW and win the rest.

The center spot will be most intresting to watch

McGee has 15-20 mins locked down. This will be the first chance for wanger or zubac or some camp invite to shine.

That’s my number one laker watching priority for the preseason.
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

It depends on who plays and for how long. I see us using Pre-season to set up what we will be doing in the regular season. I see GS using it to rest their key players and try not got get injured.

LeBron looks perfectly comfortable and is all smiles. I like seeing that.

There is no way to predict preseason results. Starters do not play heavy minutes. I can see us being 0-6 as much as 6-0.

No real point to predicting them anyway. Starters don't play heavy minutes because the games don't matter.

So apparently Lebron might not play in the preseason.

Its really gonna be fun to see what happens in the preseason. In years past, when the Lakers were not expecting to contend for anything, and even our core guys being unproven and inexperienced young guys, the focus was who the 14th or 15th man would be, because even those roster spots could impact the team's performance.

However, this year seems different. We have vets in almost all positions who will be unsure of their minutes. We have a young core who we should continue developing but will have to fight for minutes against the new vets. And we have the young promising rookies who hopefully will get a chance to play and develop. The last open slot(s) may not sound too significant at this point, but what I'm anxious to see is who Luke plays in preseason without Lebron. Will any of the young core be the man without Lebron? Will Josh Hart's play in summer league translate to being productive while playing with real NBA players? Can BI take over while Lebron is out, or will Kuz show that he's more worthy of that starting spot? Lastly, How do we intend to play the 5 position? That answer won't be answered yet because there's no Lebron @ 5 option, but will be interesting to see as well if Wagner can leapfrom Zubac for the 2nd legitimate C position.

2-4. Hopefully LeBron won't play at all in these exhibition games.

That would be a terrible idea. We need our players on the floor during preseason games to build chemistry. We aren't overlaoded with talent that we can just coast through the first 20 games of the season and have it not effect on our playoff chances or seeding.

I think Luke said LeBron would play maybe three games, and limited minutes of course.
