Kuzma named in corruption trial: Maybe took money in College

Munish Sood, of Princeton, New Jersey, testified that he gave a $30,000 loan to someone connected to Fultz and paid an undisclosed amount to one of Kuzma's associates while they were still playing at the University of Washington and the University of Utah, respectively. Sood said he made the payments at the request of NBA agent Stephen Pina of ASM Sports.

They did at Boston College in 78. GoodFellas was on the other day. Maury mentions that before he gets an icepick stuck into his head: "Did you hear about the points we were shaving up in Boston? UUHN!..." Henry Hill was the one who foiled it by offering the info to the FBI when they didn't even ask him about it. In the 30 For 30 about that situation, the FBI guy said they didn't even know about it, Henry just blurted out, "Is this about the Boston College thing?" WHAT Boston College thing?... Clips they showed from their games that were suspected as point shaving plays didn't look like much, to be honest. They managed to disguise it better than the Arizona State players who were shaving points circa late 80s.

The entire higher education system has become a Mafia these days. Hundreds of billions in endowments.... tuition rising at 8-12 times the inflation rate... the cost of student housing raising 7 times faster than the market and degrees being created out of thin air..... less than 60% of the employees at State Universities actually see students...... 30% of public university employees are in the top 5% of earners.... Government backed loans given out like Pez candy...... Oh.... and yes they make billions off of "amateur" athletes while getting endorsed by sports apparel multinational companies an selling TV rights for billions. Yeah.... there's corruption alright.

I hope Kuzma got a lot of money out of it. The more money college players take, the better.
