Well Ingram has been terrible this game, KCP has regressed into a scrub pretty much.

That behind the back pass by Rondo was gold - shame it didn't lead to anything

A loss vs the Clippers, how strange...

I actually saw this game in full and we sucked

Nothing I’ve seen so far has me terribly optimistic, outside of maybe Ingram’s development.

We look a whole lot like the team we were last season, only now instead of having “potential” we’re underachieving

Hoping it’s just that they’re taking it easy in the preseason

The magic won't happen until Ball is on the court with LeBron. He is the only one that can speed up the gelling process.

It's going to take a while. Ball isn't going to be better than Rondo at making them start playing as a unit. The best we've played this pre-season is with Rondo on the floor.

I see improvement in a few areas. Ingram looks comfortable off the ball and Kuzma is playing smarter ball as well. My guess is that we will see a little different team when Bron and Rondo play together for 36 minutes. Are we going to start off hot?.... don't think so.... but will we grow to be a 5-6 seed?... I think so.

so Trudel said Luke said the entire team will be available for Wed's game in Vegas in including Lonzo. didn't say anything specifically about MoWag though.

To me the biggest thing missing right now is length on the perimeter. Lonzo was the best defensive pg in the league last year. His length is off the charts for the pg position. I'd actually like to see Rondo and Ball on the floor at the same time for spurts.

Also I think we're missing Lonzo's shooting. Or more so the threat of a guy who wants to take 5-7 three pointers per game. That mentality will open up the floor and make it easier for us on offense. I'm not a fan of the current revisionist history out there. He was top 5 in 3pt shooting from December 12th to March 5th. Being injured doesn't change that fact.

on the bright side Lonzo already has chemistry with the young core and KCP and the G-leaguers and Rondo and Lebron are playing Lonzo style basketball.

Lonzo will feed LBJ the passes that Love couldn’t. Lonzo’s ability to rebound and gun it up to half court in about one second flat and whipping off a precision bullet pass is an incredible asset. Especially given the seriously improved defense we have around Lonzo now.

Let’s say Luke started Lonzo, Hart, Ingram, LBJ, JMG. All but JMG are elite defenders. For real. Rebound by Lonzo = showtime starts. LeBron to the left, Ingram to the right, Hart and JMG trailing...

Ingram and LBJ aren't elite defenders. Ingram is improving on that end but he's not elite. Lebron hasn't played defense in years.

Strange thing to say when you're heavily hinting at Lonzo coming off the bench and not immediately defending his starting spot as soon as Rondo was signed.

Honestly this looks like a team waiting for a trade to happen... I think they have something lined up and are just waiting for everything to fall in place... The players, from LeBron to Rondo, just don't look like they care right now. They're having fun and all, but I don't see any sense of urgency from anyone accept maybe Kuz... But he's almost playing too stiff.

Maybe things will change when opening day rolls around, but it's just kind of weird to me how a team that got so much name talent, just doesn't look that interested in showing what they are.
