Anthony Davis. Best PF/C in the league, great two-way player, I think he is the second best player in the league right now.

Impossible, would need to be a minimum of Ball and Ingram (16.0 mil) because the Lakers need to send a minimum of 21.6 million dollars outgoing.

5.6 million will have to be made up with probably Wagner 2.0 mil, the 2019 FRP (est. 2.0 mil), and one of Kuzma/Hart

Davis might be worth that in a vacuum, but the opportunity cost is keeping all those kids and grabbing one of the other 3 for nothing.

This is the same argument for Paul George vs Kawhi Leonard circa June 2018. George would've cost nothing, Kawhi would've cost the farm

They can take Ball and Hart, too.

Assuming this is via F.A, Monobrow, easily. Even after Lebron leaves he'd be young enough to lead this core for a long time.

Also he fills in a massive need.

AD-Kuzma-Lebron-Ingram-Lonzo

That core is fantastic.

Realistically though. Leonard, perimeter defence cannot be understated, its crucial.

AD. The extra years of youth he has would be perfect to compliment with the young core. Granted, you'd have to give up a piece or two of that young core, but I'm okay with that if it comes with a long term commitment.

You'd probably have to give up the entire core, and I still don't think that would do it. If I'm the Pelicans I don't move him until it's absolutely unavoidable.

As for AD, 1) he will have to demand out, 2) it would have to be so bad that NOP agree to it, 3) even if he demands out specifically to the Lakers, we’d still have to beat an offer by Ainge to prevent the Celtics from winning five in a row.

Off the no-trade-cost player list:
1) Durant
2) Klay (currently)
3) Leonard (if back to pre-injury form he’s #1)

But yeah, AD over all in terms of on court fit and future but it’s gonna cost us dearly.

Torn between AD and Kawhi but Kawhi is more realistic so voted for Kawhi.

AD by a mile.

Lonzo, Ingram, KCP and 3 1st rnd picks every second year (19, 21, 23) - all unprotected. I think that's what it would take around trade deadline if Pels are out of the PO race and he asks out. 3 years remaining on his contract, for me that would be well worth it.

We got Bron on the roster. Anything else is possible.

I like AD because he is a big but not in the expense of losing our young core for him, especially BI (I need to see how BI play this year before I decide if I would trade him or not).We can get Kawhi via FA and keep the young core together which I think is better in the long term.

Here is the catch, you shore up the center position, but now you got holes at PF, SF, SG, and PG because you just gave up all your young core to get AD.
Now you got
AD
Lebron
Beasly
KCP
Rondo

Caruso
Svi
Magee
Wear
Bonga

No thanks!
Get Kawhi and keep the team

Throw in Zu too

Rondo (28) Svi (10) Caruso (10)
Hart (32) Stephenson (10) Svi (6)
Kuzma (32) Stephenson (10) Bonga (6)
Lebron (32) Beasley (16) Wear
AD (32) McGee (16) Wagner

Rondo is 32, Lance is 28, McGee is 30, Beasley is 29... 3peat in sight...

After 4 years of learning under rondo and lebron

Bonga (32) Svi (16)
Hart (32) Svi (16)
Klay (28) James Jr. (20)
Kuzma (30) James (18)
AD (30) Wagner (18)
