Don’t think you’re wrong. Just never been a fan of Ingram’s offense. He’s not really all that great at anything and doesn’t really have skills that complement others either.

I would be fine with Kuzma at starting sg so they are never tempted to make him a full time center again

I've been saying this all summer and pre season. Let's not repeat the same mistake we did with Randle last year. We need to start our best 5 players.. period.

Zo
BI
Bron
Kuz
Javale

If someone wants to make the argument of Rondo over Zo then that's fine.. Zos shot is falling right now so I'd prefer him to start so long as he can keep hitting the 3.. but we need to have both Kuz and BI in the starting lineup.. take KCP out of there.

Lonzo, Hart, LBJ, Kuzma, McGee is currently our best starting five.

Rondo and Ingram could crush other benches with a simple two man game.

Am I the only guy who likes Hart and Kuzma more than Ingram and Lonzo?

I really don't understand the aversion to trading the latter two for a superstar. Kawhi trade was a no brainer to me, honestly.

Hart and Kuzma are just so much more confident, aggressive, better fits, better shooters etc.

Yea, if Kuzma keeps crushing it while Ingram is on suspension, then its a no brainer that he should remain starter. Lonzo is showing vast improvement in confidence in his outside shot, he'll prolly remain starter as well unless he regresses.

KCP is already on thin ice with his abject sucktitude. Hart is pretty much smashing down the door and showing he's the superior player.

I'd say keep Kuzma as starter, LBJ to SF, KCP at SG or the time being. Then insert Ingram at SG if he starts playing well, since the Lakers need to showcase him the most for a potential AD trade. Hart gets the short stick for now. KCP is pretty much the only player in danger of getting permanently benched atm if he keeps this up.

best lineup is Kuzma at the 4 and Lebron at the 3. I'd say Hart and Ingram are fighting for that 2 spot. KCP gets dealt for a Center (screw it, look at Vucenic perhaps or Dedmon in december) with Rondo starting and Lonzo as backup.

Ugh he will always have scoring outbursts but let's not act like he isnt one of our most inconsistent players. Hes had periods of 5-10 games before where he was almost unplayable.

Kuzma’s defense isn’t nearly as good as Ingram’s but it’s been getting much better. He still can’t guard PGs for crap while Ingram can and does.

Kuzma is a better fit with LBJ on offense.

Lonzo, Ingram, James, Kuz, McGee is badass. So is
Lonzo, Hart, James, Kuz, McGee... and
Lonzo, Hart, Ingram, LBJ, Kuz... small ball

I know, trade Ingram, Zubac and KCP for AD!

Lonzo, Hart, LBJ, Kuzma, AD. Yeah.

You're not necessarily wrong. However, I do think you're exaggerating a bit when you say unplayable over 5-10 game periods. To be fair, all our young players are inconsistent... most young players in general are generally inconsistent.

He'd be perfect in the starting lineup if he still could shoot like he did for most of the season last year... Not sure why he's not still hitting 3s like he used to.

Hart & Kuzz should start, PERIOD... Hart played 39 minutes last night... KCP had 4 points... Ingram has potential but doesn’t do ANYTHING great but allot of things GOOD... Give him the rock with the 2nd unit... Don’t baby the kids because they are #2 picks (Ingram & Ball) let the better players start... It seems like LBJ prefers SF too...

Ball or Rondo with Hart, LBJ, Kuzz & McGee is our best unit TODAY... Put Kuzz & Hart in corners, McGee down low & let LBJ & our PG go to work... This unit will have better spacing, better rebounding & takes pressure off of LBJ... Let Ingram go to work on the 2nd unit... I hope LBJ talks to Luke or Luke has the balls to make the change...

There had to be a way to keep Randle.. I mean 12m to KCP?
Could we have not just released Zu and added that $$ to the 12m to keep him.. Randle would have been great !

Well you’d have to trade Lebron, because he’s in Kuzma’s way at the four. Neither can play center.

Lonzo, Ingram, Kuzma, LeBron, McGee should start.

Stagger the minutes between LeBron & Ingram. One of those two on the court at all times.

Hart, Rondo, Svi, Lance, Williams off the bench.

KCP is an awful fit when he turns down shots and can’t make shots. I’d rather those 19 minutes be distributed to Rondo and Hart.
