who is that elderly asian lady who site 4 seats from jack????
don't tell me someone hasn't notice. she sits there quietly and emotionless - so much so that she stands out.

I want to say I read somewhere that her family has some kind of dry-cleaning empire? I could be wrong but for whatever reason that's what's stuck in my head.

She has been around a LONG time.

This lady probably knows a lot of cool stories you can only know when you are courtside

Pretty funny to see this post, as I actually know her quite well.
She is really nice, and she and her partner are die-hard Laker fans. I talk to them alot about Laker stuff, and they get to talk to players often, and sometimes I get little nuggets of info from them. Nothing too big (they didn't know, or didn't say anything about Lebron, for instance). Since they sit near the opposing coach, there are alot of great stories about that. They're fave coach was the the old Jazz coach (name escapes me). Apparently he's got quite the potty mouth.
But yeah, she's legit Laker fan. Besides the 2 courtside seats, she has a few others around...and every once in a while she gives me a pair. Always nice to get free bowl seats with parking.
Whoever mentioned oil was right. Without invading her privacy too much, I'll say she hooked up my buddy with a surgeon and paid for his stuff. She's got a big heart. She's pretty cool.
I always hope she'll offer me those courtside seats once....but apparently there are rules regarding giving them away. No mortal scum like me allowed.

Yes, thank you. It was a long day yesterday.
I've heard several stories about Sloan and the refs getting into it. Sloan used to turn away and walk back to his seat muttering all sorts of extremely un-PC and 4-letter type stuff. He'd turn to his assistants.....This ref doesn't know sh***!!! Real nice and loud for them to hear.
"Your f***g nuts if you think that was moving screen" Alot of stuff like that. Apparently he would do it pretty much all game. Don't bring your kids courtside to a Sloan game.
I always liked Sloan myself. One of the old-school.

She's been talked about several times on this board. there's even a TMZ segment about her. Just search youtube for "lakers courtside asian lady" and you get several hits.
