**** no to Caruso ever seeing the court again in staples.

Lance should play backup 1. KCP should get the wing minutes to keep finding his shot. And then they should work in Beasley with the second unit to give him a shot

No need to ever let as svi, bonga, or caruso play. Just slide lance down and tell him to play make. Then play Beasley because you finally have kcp going and honestly his preseason problems come from playing with Zubac who isn’t a nba player.

Lance KCP Beasley Hart Tyson

And yeah I feel more comfortable with Beas guarding a 3 than Hart defending on the perimeter

I don't see a big loss. Yes, he handles the ball, but his shot has been inconsistent at best, and way too many turnovers. Hart and KCP getting more time is a net gain for their 3 point shooting.

We talking about the same rondo who has been Rondo passing Zo, out shooting shooting, and has the best assist to turnover ratio on the team? It’s silly to not outright admit that Rondo has outplayed Zo on the year. Hell hes outplayed Ingram too

I think there is a tendency to underestimate Rondo’s contributions to this team.
His defense, passing, leadership and IQ have been big for us.
Also, his presence has allowed Lonzo to come along at a slower pace than would have been expected otherwise.

Lance and Ingram doing backup ball handling duties

Lonzo plays a few more mins per game

Im excited to see Ingram develop his point forward skills more. Of course Lebron can ball handle too when needed.

Its so nice to have a DEEP team this year. Last year any injury to our starters wrecked the team (Lonzo and then Ingram).

Anyone been watching Bonga?

I'm not sure he even has the keys to South Bay yet

Run Hart as the backup 1. Play Svi/Caruso some spot minutes to fill up the rotation. Lonzo can play 32-34 minutes anyways....No need to give Caruso big minutes. We'll be fine. Like someone else said above, this is probably the injury we could afford to have the most.

Off the top, Lebron (duh), Mcgee, BI, Kuz, and Hart would have been far more devastating.

why do ppl push for lance to be a pg he isnt a playmaker i would push for svi as a point forward he can shoot and defend and i want luke to realize these guys need to be developed in a real game situation. forget he is shooting bad he hasnt really been given a decent shot at playtime consistently give him a chance i like his potential alot

I wonder if he hurt it when he stole the ball from Nurkic in the 4th.

HE got a chance to play, Svi just outright sucked and pulled a Sasha in real games. He doesn’t deserve time.

Beasley is the one who hasn’t gotten a real chance to play and is real nba talent. He should be the one who benefits because he’s the most ready to produce and he’s made no waves at all about being benched.

Lance did just fine as the backup 1 all preseason when Lonzo was out and then did just fine as the backup pg when Rondo was suspended. He is better than hart as a ball handler. He is better than hart defensively, hell everyone is better than hart defending on the perimeter.

Lance should slide down to the 1. KCP plays backup 2. Beasley plays backup 3 behind Lebron. Hart plays backup 4 like Luke has been running him at because he’s most useful defending the post since he gets blown by on drives and fouls 3 point shooters on top of getting lost when he guards the perimeter. Tyson plays backup 5 and closes.

This seems to be a small problem as we have may ball handlers and play makers in this team but in reality this is bad. Despite of may ball handlers in this team none of them, as of now, has Rondo's BB IQ. The way Rondo controls the game. His presence on the floor is more than what you can see in the stat sheet.
