Just finished watching the NO/MIN game, which was a home game for NO, and they sat AD in a close game the entire fourth quarter. NO is essentially wasting half of a season and a playoff run for AD out of nothing but spite. The Lakers offer will get worse, and it is almost a certainty that neither BOS nor NY will offer anywhere near what LAL just offered.

I didn't want the trade to go down in order to preserve the max space, but NO is basically ignoring their fans and doing what is best long term in order to what? teach the Lakers a lesson? What happens, after wasting a portion of AD's career, if they get less in a trade than they just turned down which is likely IMO? David Stern was correct about Demps. The worst part (from NO perspective) is that it didn't work. NO still won with Randal coming up big in the last 2 minutes.
