Man you cannot, I repeat, cannot get anymore real straight honest critique than that! I was in support of trading the farm for AD, but glad it fell through. Kuz just has that "it" factor...

Re: KD talks up Kuz
KD loves our young guys. Not only Kyle Kuzma but Brandon “like looking into a mirror” Ingram. He’s also a big fan of Lonzo, who worked out with him, and has frequently praised his game and defended him and his family.
He’s always been high on our young core. However, he did call Lebron’s presence toxic and reportedly turned down Lebron’s plea to come play with him - he doesn’t want to add to his legacy. He wants to beat him. Can’t see that changing.

Yeah... I'm seeing KD wanting to play second fiddle to Bron. Clippers and Knicks are distinct possibilities. He got his championships now he wants the Bron sized bucks in a large market.

Well LeBron's only under contract for 3 more years after this one and KD's game should actually age very well.

KD isn't really saying much. Sure, phrased Kuz but what do you expect him to do given that round table discussion/platform? His compliments to me is like saying, "It's tough to play in LA" and us fans would be like, "No sh*t". But hey, any positive feedback is better than none for that young bull.

To me the entire conversation is about how you cash in on A) Playing in LA and B) being good for where he was picked. Seemed to be more about off the court opportunity that anything else.

Watching the All Star game things can change fast with the 3 ball.
I wouldn't trade Kuzma. He can flat out score and not all the time you can find a guy who can put up 20 to 30 points.
AD already can come in 2020. Lakers have to be patient.
I also would try to sign Klay this summer.
Having a great shooter with Lebron, Kuzma, Klay, BI, Lonzo
Pick up 3 point shooters is what I would do.

You mean get KD when he’s 34? No way. The last max contract you want to pay anybody, even superstars, is the one that ends no later than a player’s early 30s. After that, too much risk for injury and decline. Much safer to just get another mvp candidate who is in his 20s.

Re: KD talks up Kuz
I can see KD, AD, and Kyrie teaming up in NYC. I wouldn’t bet any money on KD joining LBJ on any NBA team, ever.
