Lakers gonna have to pay up to keep Ingram. You know someone will be dumb enough to max him out (or close to). Some small market non FA destination team with space will overpay and the Lakers' hand will be forced... or do you get him healthy and trade him at the deadline if you're dead set against opening up the vault for him? 2020 FA class isn't great so Ingram's scoring ability and youth will stand out. As long as he's healthy he's getting $100+ million from someone over 4 years.

Ingram will probably get a decent offer we'll match assuming we don't trade him. The Clot issue might keep things a little lower, though.

might be hard to move him with this clot thing, teams will be wary or they will at least pretend to be. He won't be the centerpiece of any trade thats' for sure, or at least won't be until he can prove this isn't going to be a chronic issue

So, then we have no other choice but to trade LBJ to NYK. Done.

Ugh..

This is the most unaware front office/decision making team I've ever seen. Seriously.

You're a team that's being ridiculed from about every legit basketball person on the earth outside of the organization. Maybe don't bring a dog into the picture with one of your star young players?

Ingram looks like he’d rather be on fire than posing for that photo.

It was his dad (Ingram's father) that said it was a great meeting. So hopefully, they are all on the same page now and the Lakers FO have explained to him that the contract is coming after we get the superstar in the offseason.

So basically we're trading him to the Hornets so he can be closer to his folks?

I assume this injury will affect his trade value, and contract negotiations assuming the sides are talking.

Ingram may never play in the nba again.

I mean. In the worst season of seasons. This happens?

A life threatening aliment. I hope ingram recovers fully. Only other nba player i can think of having this was chris bosh. And i dont believe he ever played again
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Listening to The Ringer NBA podcast.

Holy cow, Ingram's condition could be career-threatening?

They said the same condition ended Teletovic and Bosh's careers.

I think they're jumping the gun for click bait... Technically, what Ingram has isn't a 'condition' yet... Bosh and Teletovic both had a recurring problem with blood clots... And Teletovic had the much more serious complication that they were in both his lungs...

Ingram has had a single occurrence, which isn't that uncommon and can be treated and never recur... If it happens again, then yes, it's a condition that could end his career...

When I hear recurring blood clots, I think PEDs... So we'll have to watch that too I guess... He sure turned it on after the all star break...
