Ok, so what happens if/when AD refuses to step foot on the floor for the Celtics?

Dell Dumps got what he deserved. They should have been more professional about the negotiations.

Talk about being a narcissistic idiot, putting ego over team interest. We offered him a full rebuild starting five of an average age under 22. He said no. I hope his butt hurt ego pays him well.

This gives Ainge an excuse to bail on offering Tatum without backlash. He can say that he had an agreement with Dell and since there is no Dell them there is no agreement.

Yeah, Silver should disenfranchise them, for basketball reasons.

The Pelicans are soliciting offers from all teams, not just those on AD's list. Since he has a full year left on his contract, that invites competitive teams to roll the dice, as the Raptors and Thunder have.

Moreover, Gayle Benson was incensed that AD and Rich Paul handled his injury (just left the arena, didn't inform the team). She is not going to let AD and Rich Paul wag the dog.

Danny Ferry, who is a great GM, is not going to lose this opportunity to get back in the game after the Luol Deng incident. He is going to work very closely with Gayle Benson to get her trust and save face for the franchise.

And now, Anthony Davis reportedly said Boston is on his list (Wojnarowski).

None of this is good for AD to the Lakers.

If true this is good for the Lakers IMHO. Trading the entire group to NO is not getting us closer to a championship. I hope we give up on these stat hounds and balance the team around Bron. Trading 1 or 2 of the young guys to do it would be a great way to do it.

Yea not sure why anyone is still holding out hope for an AD deal. NO ownership and Mgmt gave us the biggest middle finger they could at the deadline after we offered everything thing we could. Move on

I think AD trade is dead. Hence, AD comments. Lakers to max someone else and move on.

AD is going to Knicks. KD is already heading to Knicks and he needs another superstar and that is AD.

Knicks will offer 2019 FRP (Zion) plus Kevin Knox plus DSJ plus FN plus Mavs 2020 FRP and Mavs 2022 FRP and Knicks 2021 FRP. That package is better than that of lakers.

Not sure if we can entice Kwahi and Kyrie to come to Lakers
