Also before it even gets started- no Kobe should have zero to do with anything at all beyond player development in the offseason.

Just for fun, I could totally see this happening if NY gets the first overall pick. LeBron to NY to team up with Irving, Durant, and those young players they have. I'd miss LeBron but I'd be down to do this.

If we can't get that 2nd star early in the off season, it's going to be tough to deal with Lebron for the final 3 years, I will probably not even watch except highlights

If we trade LeBron, which should be considered because of all the crap that his agent and his agency has done, that would open up the gates for Kawhi and AD.

Pretty positive the Lakers won't be trading the greatest player of all time, the biggest prize in last year's free agency, the biggest draw in the NBA, and the only reason why Anthony Davis would consider coming to the Lakers.

I still think if Lebron wants to stay in L.A, we can send him to the clippers to free up space for Kawhi to L.A ( a three way perhaps, clippers send some nominal pieces like Zubac and some other youngsters that aren't significant).

Kawhi + youth is better than Lebron + youth (especially since said youth aren't listening to him), Kawhi actually would be a cultural fit with us as well. Add to that we could get A.D in theory either via trade in the offseason or in the summer of 2020 (hopefully).

Clippers get Lebron (repeat, they get Lebron James) and pair him with Doc Rivers, a coach he actually respects. Jerry is strong enough to not let him run rougshod and Lebron with Gallo + their key youth would be a top 4 seed.

Obviously Kawhi + youth is a playoff team with the right coach (we should go for Snyder from Utah, screw it, make a huge pitch for him to come here).

This along with the fact that he met with James yesterday and Jeannie today, makes you wonder if the backstabbing that's going on around the org he's talking about is from James' camp.

The report that came out that Davis liked Luke... For one. Maybe James/Klutch were privately telling Magic he had to fire luke, but publicly trying to distance themselves from it, all in the face of Jeannie not really being on board with the firing...

Maybe they all wanted it to happen but weren't publicly giving Magic the support he expected to be the face of the decision.

Wonder if Magic was ever on board with working with Pelinka.

But maybe the backstabbing he was referring to was from outside the organization, like how the league conspired to prevent the AD trade, like Pop telling the Pels not to trade with the Lakers.

Then of course missing out on trades for Kawhi and PG13 and then not being able to sign PG13.

Lot of missed opportunities.

What's it going to take for you to just be "ClipperFan"? Most of your post on the Laker forum read like full-on troll posts from the General Board. Have a little self awareness about your audience when you post, or expect to start racking up warnings.
And on a side note, signatures that glorify Lebron at the expense of other great Lakers, are divisive, tone deaf, and not going to be tolerated. Change the sig or I'll delete it.
