Trading down makes no sense with bron on our team. We aren’t trading down unless it’s for an allstar or really really good role player

If true then our competition are the knicks. Do we beat their offer knowing the number 3 pick in this draft is quite a bit more valuable than 4?

IMO the gap between 3 and 4 isn't too large.

Unfortunately for us, the national consensus seems to be so.

But who else does the Knicks add with that offer? Knox and 3 < Ingram, kuz, 4.

Well they would also add Robinson in this scenario.

I think we should package number 4 with Kuzma and float it for offers.

Ball, Leonard/Klay, Ingram, LBJ is set.

We need a center. Kuz plus #4 plus fluff, taking bids!

Whomever thinks Ingram is being traded can probably rethink, would be my guess.

Klay is clearly staying with the Warriors. Kawhi's camp has said nothing to make us a likely destination. Let's not get our hopes up on this.

Ingram alone is better than knox and Robinson. Also a better fit with Zion and a scorer. I am not being homer I really think we have the better offer and that’s not even including zo if we for some reason made that decision.

No, let’s keep our optimism down, aim low to not get our feefees hurt later. You don’t think the number 4 pick changed things a bit? Like a huge bit? Wake up. Even Klay might change his mind just because of that.

I’m glad some of you guys are not my negotiating agents.

Yeah Klay is too busy right now winning titles and getting a better role without KD on the floor. He is just begging to come here.

Trade the pick, Ingram, Ball and Kuzma for AD. Take one of them out if we have a strong vibe that Kyrie will sign here.

Garland might have the best career out of the draft class. I see the mastery of skills only guys like Curry/Harden/McCollum display in the league.

He's the perfect modern guard and a perfect fit next to Lonzo. I wish we could keep him, but a trade seems inevitable.

If we make the pick with number 4 then something went wrong IMHO. With our window of opportunity we don't need more unproven youth. Great that we got a more valuable pick. It should help us with our offseason plans.

There is a Stud at #4 that does not play LBJ's position

Don't trade the pick but draft #4 who was a gift.

Keep the gift and get another Superstar.

Pelinka quotes are back in this article. He finally talks. Impact player or trade the pick.

So much THIS!!! I just spent the last hour catching up on Garland. Apparently he only played in 5 games this year before an injury to his knee (meniscus) ended his season early. In 5 games he Put up 16.2ppg 3.2 and 2.8 and shot 47.8% from 3... He also scored 33 pts against Liberty right before his injury.

He was ranked the #1 PG out of his HS class coming into college. Even just the small sample size of reviewing his college highlights anyone can tell this kid is special. Hes a quick twitch, elite handles PG that can shoot and attack the rim at will. He can dominate in P&R and creates wrinkles in open space due to his tight handle. I was awe struck when I saw his clips. He has the chance to be the steal of the draft. This kid is special. A Lonzo/Garland backcourt looks like it could work as Zo compliments his game well. Unless we have a superstar deal on the line - I say we keep him. I'd actually rather have Garland over Zo.
