Josh Hart has really been getting on my nerves lately.

I got zero problems with Hart. Played hard, hurt, the right way. The consummate team player.

It’s also very understandable to have been confused by the front office’s moves last summer. We all were.

And he’s absolutely within his rights to be worried about his future with the team that he’s given everything for. The Lakers recently don’t have a good track record in doing right by their players.

Anyways he’s certainly outplayed his current contract. He’s a coach’s favorite around the league.

I agree, dude plays hard. Has value. Does not shy away from big moments, but attacks. No need to dump the kid for off season comments on a podcast. He should Play out his time here. And retain him if at all possible.

Took a huge step back this year. Probably one of my two or three biggest disappointments from a hugely disappointing season overall. He needs to get his shooting pcts out of the toilet or worrying about what kind of contract he's going to get from us is just about the last thing he needs to have on his mind.

Also, totally unrelated, some of the stuff that came out of Gilbert's mouth in this podcast were pretty unreal. Mainly how he hated to be a reserve, and he actively rooted against teammates who were higher up on the pecking order. What a loser...
