Yea he definitely seems like another version of Lavar... except it seems he prefers to operate in the back.

Hehe....no, thank God. More like "lavar light".

Uncle Dennis is the man who speaks up for Kawhi. Think of him more of an agent. An agent with an ego...but who knows not to get too off script, or he'll find himself out of a job. Uncle Dennis will ask the tough questions, and say the uncomfortable things, on Kawhi's behalf.

Lavar's off in a whole other world (and I am one of the few folks who still kinda likes Lavar).

With the Pelicans loading up on the forward/center position, I wonder if we could somehow pry Christian Wood from them? He would be a great backup center. Looks like he has one year left on his contract at $1.7 million.

I don't like all of the sudden noise.
I wish we went back to the quiet behind the scenes maneuvering that was present before Magic got involved again.
Too much media stuff right now.

Agree. This is not Kawhi's style. Magic shouldn't have said any of these things. Have the meeting. Come out and say "I think it went well, but we'll see. The young man has a huge decision to make". And then STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea all the obvious signs are he’s going to the Lakers. It’s terrible for competitiveness in the NBA, but it is what it is.

Just don’t think it’s great for Lebron and Kawhis legacy, but if their only end game is to win as many rings as easy as they can (which probably is their end game) then good for them and good for the city of LA.
