Is Reddick still serviceable? This guy will turn 35 next week.

Offensively dude is fantastic and would be a great fit, but he can barely guard anyone at this point. I’d still be ok with grabbing him if we grabbed a strong 3-D backcourt mate to couple with him though, like P-Bev or Rubio.

Sign him to a 1+1 or 2 year deal.

Vince Carter is a guy that I'm sure will be in play if for nothing else the optics of the situation.

I want to see the market for guys like Tomas Satoransky and Delon Wright.

Jeremy Lamb, with the limited cap room he would be a good pickup.

Rodney Hood, Not a LeBron guy – was way too inconsistent w/ the Cavaliers

Marquese Chris, looked promising his rookie season but his career has been nosediving ever since.

Ishmael Smith, would prefer a more defensive minded PG, but beggars can’t be choosers.

Trevor Ariza, I wouldn’t mind seeing him in a Lakers uni provided he is willing to come in at an affordable rate.

Tyreke Evans, banned for two years.

Jamal Crawford, amazingly still has game, but he is up there in age.

Derrick Rose, 1. I don’t know how affordable he will be given his resurgence last season 2. I doubt he would be open to returning to a big market at this time.

Markieef Morris, I would agree provided he meet the following criteria – he is willing to play C and can be acquired at an affordable rate. Reality he can make much more elsewhere playing his natural position.

Nik Stauskas, wildly inconsistent jumper. No thanks!

Kenneth Faried, he’s accustom to the rich life and it would not surprise me if he is not willing to take a financial haircut at this time.

No, thank you! He's inconsistent shooter and a subpar defender.

I think we'll get KCP back on the cheap to be a backup 2... Because rings and Klutch.

I also think we need to convince Patrick Beverley to take the Tax MLE, especially if we get Kawhi... Because he's barely going to touch the ball on Offense but we'll need his D.

I wouldn't mind resigning KCP, but he would need to be on a much more reasonable priced contract. No way I would resign for $9m or more annually.

Me neither, but I don't think the market is that good for him anyway, so I could see him ring chasing... That said, I posted that without looking closely at the numbers...
We're likely only going to have the Tax Payers MLE to play with and a bunch of vet mins... I wouldn't give the MLE to KCP, and I doubt he'd go for that much of a paycut.

So I think we should give the full Tax MLE to Beverley and try to find a ring chasing shooter at the 2 for the vet min. Reddick?

I'm not opposed to a Beverley, Reddick addition... now let's make it happen! :)

Not that I want him but with the vet mins we will get Close to the like of JR Smith, and even it will come because of “ doing a favor for Lebron”.

While I agree certain free agents will consider coming here because of LBJ and or AD. I don’t know how many are truly willing to accept a discount. With that all said I still have NO interest in JR. I prefer make em dance Lance.

Lance over JR. JR's dumb plays can cause a championship. We saw it all and I don't think Bron would want a deja vu of that. :D

Haha! Now that’s an All star team that can stack up nicely against GSW at their best!

10010. PG.Patrick Beverley...pesky defender w/ fairly consistent outside range
10020. PG.Elfrid Payton...Lonzoesque in the sense that he is a good overall player, but a streaky shooter
10030. PG.Rajon Rondo...I suspect he will be resigned
10040. PG.Delon Wright...taller guard 6-5, good defender
10050. PG.Ryan Arcidiacono...pretty good shooter
10060. SG.Reggie Bullock...I would be open to resigning him
10070. SG.Make em' dance Lance Stephenson...seems as if LBJ enjoys his antics
10080. SG.Tomas Satoransky...sharp shooter
10090. SG.Jeremy Lamb...seasoned veteran
10100. PF/C.Bobby Portis...good young stretch PF/C
10110. PF/C.Noah Vonleh...good young stretch PF/C
10120. PF/C.Maxi Kleber...good young stretch PF/C
10130. PF/C.Dirk Nowitiki...just checking if you're paying attention
10140. PF/C.Dewayne Dedmon...good range for C
10150. PF/C.Thomas Bryant...would he be open rejoining?
10160. PF/C.Nerlens Noel...good defender

No way Washington let’s Bryant go...

As for the roster, it’s looking more and more like we will only have 23+ million after July 7th signing plus AD taking the $4 million. With it, unless a FA signs for cheap, I say we get good vets:

PG: Beverley, Lance, Caruso
SG: Bullock, Seth Curry, Bonga
F: JJones, MoWagner
Big: Dedmond, Williams

Plus LeBron, Kuzma and AD.

"Westy, LeBron + AD to rule the West.

They need quality role players that can work in the offense, play D, make a 3, and are available come playoff time. I have a few ideas for that:

PG: Patrick Beverley, Ricky Rubio

Beverley has the edge in defensive ability, Rubio has the edge on playmaking. I like Rubio a bit better in this case because I believe he is better at running an offensive without a star on the floor.

SG: JJ Reddick, Jeremy Lamb, Danny Green, Tyler Johnson, Rodney Hood

All 3 point specialists. Have to have shooting, with AD as a rim protector their defensive liability can be negated

Forward: Terrance Ross

Plug-n-play 2-way forward with 3 point range. Could be a sixth man off the bench.

C: Doesn't matter. AD will play starting C for the Lakers, just need to sign a 7 footer to bang down-low.

What about a player like George Hill? Only 1 mil of his salary is guaranteed... in the event the Bucks keep Middleton and Brogdon, i think there's a good chance he's let go.

I think we should be able to get him for the MLE.

There’s so many options really:

A) max slot Kemba
MLE Danny Green
Vet min Nando de Colo, Noel, Ariza/Ellington/Matthews

B) Max slot: Jimmy Butler
MLE: Dedmon
Vet min: D Rose, Ariza/Ellington/Matthews, Noel

C) Max slot: Vucevic
MLE: Rondo/Darren Collison
Vet min: D Rose, Bullock/JR Smith/Matthews, Ellington/Ariza

D) Max Slot (split): 10M JJ Reddick, 12 Pat Beverly, 10 Lopez/Cousins
MLE: Danny Green.
vet min: DRose, Noel, Bullock.

Last example is my favorite, but probably most players will get much more than what I’m projecting, specially Danny Green.
This would look amazing, though

Beverly/Rose/Caruso
JJ Reddick/Danny Green/Reggie Bullock
James/Kuz
Davis/Kuz/Wagner
Cousins/Noel/Wagner

During the season there will be chances to get cheap vets after buyouts, like Blazers got Kanter. What’s Deandre Jordan’s situation, would he fit with AD?
Let’s see how many players are willing to take a paycut to take on a larger role and exposure in order to get a bigger contract in a year.

No way we can get D.Rose for the vet min, especially after his great past season.
