I know some of you guys disagree but I don't really think Lakers rose to the top 3 or even top 5 with just the addition of Anthony Davis. They also lost some key pieces.

I still think Warriors, Blazers, Nuggets, Rockets, and maybe the Jazz or Thunder are slightly better. I think the Lakers may need another key free agent to end up top 3.

This is just my opinion. I'm not sold on the Lakers being top 3 yet. Remember what happened last year? People said the Lakers would be one of the best and they missed the playoffs.

Do you guys think that you guys are the best team in the West honestly? What do you guys really think. I live in LA and I honestly don't think the Lakers are a top 5 team yet.

If you are looking at the Lakers team right now then obviously they are not a top 5 seed because right now you only have AD, Bron, Kuz, Bonga and Wagner as your official roster. Not a top 5 opinion should only be discussed until the Lakers round up their rosters.

You're right that we're not a top 5 team YET, because we have 5 people on the team!
Let's not be premature although there is treatment for that these days.
Once the roster is filled out around AD, LBJ, and Kuzma, it is very likely to be a Championship contender.
