Every free agent who is looking to get paid is going to be linked to the Lakers to drive up there own price.

Re: Al Horford
We need guards dawg... If Pelinka is hell bent on a 3rd Star, Irving makes the most sense as he can play PG & we sign a vet for SG... Horford makes no sense for our squad... AD will play 5...

Anyone that thinks Al Horford is a scrub worth next to nothing either can't get past the green stink on him or knows nothing about basketball.

Doesnt matter. You cant commit to that type of money to someone into his mid to late thirties. And no it isnt the same as Lebron.

Great post. In a vacuum Horford is an awesome fit, but he's not a practical fit for the Lakers.

We do see guys occasionally maintain elite production well into their late 30s. I’d be bet on Horford being one of those guys.

My worst nightmare would be the Clippers unloading Gallinari, and adding Horford and Kawhi.

Kawhi should be options 1 through 5, then Butler, then break that max up.

Re: Al Horford
Not signing Horford makes us better than signing him... Because it means some other idiot team used up all their cap space to sign 33yo Horford. If it's really the Mavs... It's an idiot team in the West...

Re: Al Horford
I am all for Al, as long as he signs cheap enough for us to also add Darren Collison or Patrick Beverly and JJ Reddick or Danny Green with cap space also, preserving the room exception for guard depth. I don't see any chance he signs that cheap though.
