Paul George...

I don’t want to rub it in but I wonder how PG is feeling down in OKC right about now? One reason I think about PG is that we hired his old coach, Vogel, and sign his cousin to play in the SL, Joe Young. Is this a coincidence or a rub/salt into PG’s wounds?

Yeah he got into the playoffs last season but now has to meet reality. OKC hit their ceiling especially since they have no wiggle room with their roster and team owner’s pocket while the Lakers are going to show how to build and spend for a Ship.

Crazy to think if he and his agent were smart this could have been the trio, Bron, AD and PG. Unfortunately, PG will forever be hated by his hometown Lakers fans unless when LeBron retires, he joins the team and make amends somehow.

Just a passing thought on a blunder as the Lakers position themselves into a Championship roster including adding PG’s connections.

Ain’t Karma a biatch?

Let him enjoy the 7th seeds and the perennial 1st round exit with his buddy the declining Westbrick.

Irrelevant.

We had an opportunity to acquire him and our decision to just starve Indiana backfired. The same assets essentially ended up netting AD.

We're happy.

He went to OKC and didn't even take any meetings.

He's happy.

Best of luck to him.

This is just as bad as my thread in the general board, but that's the general board - I wouldn't mess with laker board :) lol

As long as you're happy, doing what you love doing, then that's all that matters:)

He'll find out the greener grass was home after all.

He's a fool.

We'd have our big 3 right now and would have been coming off a playoff run (i reckon we'd have swapped places with OKC almost exactly).

If the Lakers pick up Kawhi, PG is going to keep turning in his sleep and NEVER have a restful night. He might even dump his agent.

And every year that nightmare will get worse and worse, just thinking “what if”.

At least he gets to rest on offense because he's watching Westbrook chuck up 35 shots a game in the playoffs

What big three, Lebron, George and who? because the assets used to land Davis would not have been here had the Lakers acquired George

I think he means we could have signed George in the offseason with Lebron. But let paul enjoy okc with his butt buddy. Bet Russ will bounce and leave him

Always better to stay classy. PG13 did what he felt was best for him. Nothing wrong with that.

No sympathy for him. He knew what he was signing up for when he partnered with Westbrook and chose a market like OKC.

I never wanted Paul George. Also it wasnt completely his fault. "Forever hated by laker fans" ? I dont think so. I like the guy and he is an excellent player. I am sure he's happy where he is at and having tons of fun living the life of a pro basketball player. SHeesh.
