Quiet and calm descended on the Kawhi Leonard madness on Thursday with the two-time NBA Finals most valuable player digesting what he had heard and seen in a few days of free agency pitches and everyone taking a minute from trying to predict an unpredictable future to enjoy a national holiday in the United States with family and friends.

Appears Kawhi is back in San Diego or wherever his family is per Doug Smith of the Toronto Star.
If he announces tomorrow doesn’t look like he will be announcing from Toronto.

Compare that to PG, or whatever small parts comparable that is, OKC never let PG out of the parking lot. Sequestered him. Locked him up in a tent. And We never got a meeting. And the last we heard from PG was Damian Lillard splashing one in his face 1st round in portland. With PG grumbling...sh&#, i shoulda taken the deal to LA....
This time, i believe we were able to make a full case. And he will go home, and render a fair decision.

Kawhi,

Lakers are such a great brand.

The family won't have to travel far to go to the games.

The family flying out of the country and the cold weather could be dangerous.

Keep them close to home and Jeannie will get them great season tickets.

There are no better fans that the Lakers. Watching the Lakers in the playoffs is great.

I don't think the Clippers in the playoffs is too exciting.

Home games would be much easier for the family.

Lakers with AD & Lebron will be like when Shaq and Kobe were in town.

Time to lock this or merge with the other FA thread. I don't think anyone knows anything about Kawhi at this point.

Jeeeze dude make your decision already this is ridicules! I hope someone told him if he is choosing the Lakers we kinda need to fill out the roster before everyone is taken. Maybe he's going back to Toronto and this is his plan to make sure if he sees the Lakers in the finals they will have a depleted roster full of last minute scrubs.
