Agreed. I don't think 8 mil for a 3 pt shooter is too much in this league.

Lebron works best with a shooting big man and three snipers

Brb got the shooting big man
Brb insert snipers

Tyus Jones - Cook - Bron
Green - Kuz - KCP - Korver
Bron - Kuz - Dudley - Iggy
AD - Bron - Kuz
Boogie - AD - McGee

I'd like Rondo in there, but Tyus and Cook can shoot and Bron and Iggy can create from the point.

Lakers Depth Chart:
PG: Rajon Rondo - Quinn Cook
SG: Danny Green - KCP - Troy Daniels
SF: LeBron James - Jared Dudley
PF: Anthony Davis - Kyle Kuzma
C: DeMarcus Cousins - JaVale McGee

I would try to see what works during season to figure out starting lineup.

My rotation would be:

KCP/Rondo/Cook
Green/Daniels/KCP
Lebron/Kuzma
AD/Kuzma/Dudley
McGee/Cousins/AD

It sounds crazy, but I would star KCP as PG when Lebron is ON, Lebron would be 100% PG on offense, with Green and KCP to shoot the 3 and play defense. I would close games with KCP - Green - Lebron - Kuzma - AD.

Rondo would play every minutes Lebron is resting. When/If Iggy comes he could help with creation too.

In looking at the team I'd say that we have the opportunity to do something a lot of teams can't do.... which is pound the paint. Bron, Davis and Cousins all can do that. Kuzma can score at the hoop as well. Use the shooters to space the floor and go a little old-school on the league. Not many teams can match the size and ability of our front court. I hope the staff plays to that advantage.

Holy **** Rob did his thing and filled out the roster.

Would you guys be willing to sign Oubre Jr? Not that good of a shooter at 32%

Rondo and Lebron shouldn't be on the court together much, unless Rondo's shooting is really on that day, or he is a good matchup on D.
Having Rondo lead the second unit is the perfect situation for him at this point.

How is Quinn Cook's handle? We need someone to bring it up the court, then let Lebron initiate the offense.

Not sure how you don’t start cousins. He’s a lot better than McGee. There were flashes last year during the season

Starting lineup:
Shooter
Shooter
Lebron point fwd
AD
McGee backline eraser

Then bring in:
Rondo floor general
KCP
Daniels (unless Igg is obtained)
Kuzma
Boogie
for a more traditional lineup. Hope to score enough to not give up big leads.

I like it!
You start Cousins though, at least for ego purposes. McGee can't handle more than 24 minutes a night anyway, so you need to play Cousins with the starting group for about 10 minutes a game - the first 5 minutes of each half.

So you guys are choosing Cousins over Mcgee as starting Centre?

I'm against this. I think Cousins needs to prove him self see how he goes first.

Mcgee it is for me.

Edit: And by proving himself, I mean is he all grown up and willing to do what it takes.

I jusat like Mcgee better IMO

My starting line up would be:
Caruso/Rondo - Green - Bron - AD - Cousins/McGee

It would be interesting to see a Rondo-Green-Bron-AD-Cousins starting unit and I believe it will make AD happy but I think Rondo would be more effective leading the second unit thus I'm ok with Caruso taking the starting spot. McGee and Cousins are very pretty much interchangeable but I would play McGee with Rondo most of the time. I'm putting Cousins with AD in the starting unit because they have already proven that they could play well together.

The success of our season will rely on how good Kuz is going to be this year and if Cousins could somehow miraculously be at least half of the player that he used to be. If wee see old Cousins and playoff Rondo then we'll have #17 this season.
