Lakers should renege on Anthony Davis deal

Post#1 » by milesfides » Sat Jul 6, 2019 5:08 pm

If Anthony Davis doesn't agree on an extension, I would force Pelinka to renege on the AD deal. Get all the kids and picks back.

It would be absolutely criminal to lose AD for nothing next summer, after trading away our future.

Next, Jeannie should fire Pelinka. Too much antagonism around the league, which directly affects his ability to do the job.

Hire Jerry West. The one person who can step in with competency and restore the Lakers' standing around the league. What he's done with the Memphis, Warriors and Clippers - nothing short of amazing. We need somebody who attract and assemble winners.

It's time to bring the greatest Laker home. We need one more shot from Mr. Clutch.

As entertaining as it would be the Lakers need to have Anthony Davis...The amount of stories that would come from backing out of the trade would be hilarious...And yes they did give up a haul for AD...But like a good percentage of the league is dependent on this trade.

Lol backtrack the trade? Um, then let’s re-do the draft since that #4 pick is back.

I suppose we aughta start pickling West during the winters, so he can stick around for a few years. The guy is 81. Let's look forward.

If you hate Pelinka, Jeanie, Lebron and AD....
...but you love West, Kahwi and PG.....

...I got a suggestion for ya

I agree that bringing West back should be done of possible.

Can't renege on the trade though. AD will resign. He's apart of a great team, loving the life in LA and will have exposure to all of LeBrons extra-curricular activities.

I wouldn't sweat him going. Where would he go?

The only part about all of this that makes any sense is to bring Jerry back and get Rambis out. Clean up the FO because right now no one in the league has respect for our front office anymore.

Get a decent coach as well. Vogel/Kidd is going to be atrocious.

I remember posting years ago, I don’t remember you as such a negative poster miles. LAKERS ARE STILL IN GREAT SHAPE.

Jerry West will not come back to the Lakers.
And I’m not sure why he is getting the credit for all this Clipper stuff.
This was orchestrated by Aaron Mintz, Rivers, Presti and Lawrence Frank.
The Clippers didn’t have to do much recruitment, which is where West would have come in.
This is two superstars wanting to play together in LA.

Let's trade Lebron for a million and a half picks, while we're at it. Go back to eating ****.

Having AD and Born with vet minimums on a roster is a **** ton better than 28 other teams, not named Clippers rn.

Let's calm down and move on ahead guys.

AD can block shots and protect the paint. So the Lakers and Clippers could meet in the WCF.

There is no saying the Clippers can beat the Lakers until we see them play.

AD is the Future there is not changing it
